    I hope Yao REALLY learned the lesson. IMO, a lot of time he doesn't bring up enough effort. To be a great center in NBA, you've got to come out prepared and play hard night in and night out.

    That's just what I was thinking. Also, he "only" got off 12 shots. Remember a couple months ago when he was lucky to have double digit field goal attempts?

    One thing that I noticed, in particular, being at the game, is that Yao is brutalized often without getting the call. Maybe it's because it happens all game and the refs won't call every one in order to pretend to be fair or even, I don't know. Yao got to the line a lot but even from the nosebleed seats you can see how the opposing player(s) are allowed to grab, hold, and push him.

    Yao also seemed a bit groggy from his big week. Good thing Steve had a decent game.

    it doesn't how Yao looks tonight he still gets 19 and 11....but i thought his two monster dunk made up for it..ha ha ha ha....the first dunk..he looked at kaman on the way back...and then the second dunk he YELL out...ha ha ha ha ha...like espn said it ..he's all grown up

    What truth? You mean like that he went 5/2 in the first half and 8/5 in the 4th quarter? Admittedly he was doubled/tripled all night and Kaman was hacking like crazy, but he still DELIVERED in the 4th. Which means he DIDN'T in the first 3 quarters. That's what makes me go nuts. He CAN bring it despite the teams but he DOESN'T bring it more often.

    I'm so relieved the Rox won this game. This game looked like another typical letdown loss coming after two huge emotional wins against the top teams. I had even forgotten about this game it until I checked the Houston Chronicle sport site last night for Astros news.

    I guess its a good thing I'm not a Rox player or coach. ;)
