SF was fouled on the last 2 drives to the basket. Where were the calls?

The Clippers were shooting lights out in the 3rd. And not to mention that ridiculous 40 footer that beat the buzzer.

We still have a decent chance to win. Need to play some D to shut their offense down.

BTW, our big men could not make any shots within 3 foot of the basket except those two dunks by Ming.

Corey Maggette is an incredible athelete.. he's one of those best kept gems in the West.

If the Rox are smart, they will be aggressive and get those 5th fouls on teh three Clips in foul trouble. Yao has to step up the intensity and draw contact. Steve is playing like a champion and has to keep it up.

This is a good game to gauge our mental toughness.

    :D

This is what don't understant JVG's stratedgy. With Kaman and Brand in foul trouble, why not put Yao back in?

Maybe the Clippers have the FATE... 40 footer at the buzzer, and now Spoon (who's blown 20 layups for us) makes a shot FOR THEM!

haven brought up a terrific point that Steve has not been taking over games when Yao goes out (ala Hakeem and Clyde). Now you are criticizing Steve for playing great when his team needs him?!?!

I'm as puzzled as you. The only thing I can think of is fatigue, saving his energy for the playoffs

err...i think you posted this too early...you should wait till the end of the game to pull this comment out.

I suspect you will have to keep it for the next game :D

    Steve's hitting jumpers. That's good.

Why don't the Rockets run some pick and roll with Steve hitting the jumper? It's not often that he's hitting jumpers well. Take advantage of it.

You know what? I got a feeling just from last game, or called confidence. Our team can play well in 4th quarter now. I don't have the usual worry about their play that much as before. They still make mistakes and stupid TOs, but they did get better and better.:)
