ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 3/6/2024

Seems like we always win when Sengun goes for 45 or more. So, we know the recipe for victory.

 

I want another game of 30+ shots from Sengun, that is the level of aggression needed from him to really take that next step. Thats what this team needs as currently constructed, too.

 

I like the way Green been playing, just keep it up, let Sengun cook inside and we can build towards next year.

We need Fred and Jalen and company to knock down some open threes to loosen up the defense.

Yeah for sure. If they send doubles consistently he will make the pass out. I just want him to stay in the mode of making decisive moves, and if he sees that a shot is there just shooting without hesitation.

I don't want to be a "Debbie Downer", but after 32 shots in 37 mins last night, I don't expect Alpi to play his best against the Clippers. Even established stars often step back following extreme high-usage games. The Clippers are also a veteran team and will adjust their defense accordingly to stop him.

On the other hand, if I'm wrong and he's very efficient on 20+ shots, this would demonstrate he's broken through after hitting a slight wall. Doing this would be an important milestone in his development.

No-one on Clippers are gonna defend him one-on-one cause there is no 7'6 on the Clippers. I am hoping he will perform as usual like 20/9/6 and others will step up. Also hopefully they won't play drop coverage...that would be disasterous against Clippers
