How do you recommend we do that? We still have guys like Lowry, Kevin Martin, and Scola on our team. Players that will help us win games when they are on the court. You want to bench them and establish that the Houston Rockets have a lose-first mentality? Good luck convincing Quincy Douby to sign here, let alone Dwight.

Lee: In crunch time, gotta help your team make plays. Just trying to focus on that and get stops. ... Says a lot that coach has confidence in me to make that move(to put him on Paul). ... It's tough. 2 in a row at home. Crowd was into it the whole game. Felt like a playoff game. We need support like that every night.

Terrence: Felt great but also weird. Being in basketball form. Everytime you get the ball, you try to make the play. Sometimes thats not always smart. I felt I played horrible. I was cheering heavily(/a lot) down the stretch to win this game so we/I(?) can overlook my performance. Felt weird playing the game. I appreciate the opportunity to play basketball. ... Means a lot that its noticed(talking about McHale saying he practiced hard). A lot of guys pout. I was there my rookie year. You go about it the wrong way. You complain on twitter or to your agent. That doesnt help you. I try to play hard every time. ... Pleasure to see these guys compete hard. We tried to compete on the boards, we got outrebounded, but it was a better performance. If we can perform like that, we'll be better down the stretch.

Feel bad for the players; the Clippers are a much more talented team overall, but the Rockets played them tough. Could have, should have won it. Scola looked like his ole self, played really hard. KM was visibly tired at the end, no legs, was not the one to take the last shot. I would have given it to Courtney Lee. Anyway good game, but the Rockets simply don't match up talent wise, played their hearts out but wasn't enough.

Rockets need Jordan Hill back even though hes not a great defender he gives the bench another option to score and he also gets you a good number of rebounds.

I saw the three THAT WE NEEDED...there were too many scoring droughts in the second half and his three cut the lead in half and the Clippers momentum. I didn't see him play in the 4th. I can't watch every second of Rockets games because a loss just feels like a waste of time.

hello adam, i agree with you it was a team loss. lowry wasn't playing like his usual self. at the same time people need to give the clippers credit. they are a good team and to be brutally honest, losing to them by 2 points is not bad at all. scola surprised me with his defense on blake griffin.

Bad because it showed how flawed this roster is in terms of leadership and clutch guys. Terrible decisions in the last minutes, kind of things you barely can teach or practice.

Vinny Del Negro is one lucky b*stard.

I've come around with mchale. But I still miss the furious Offensive sets by the fuhrer. The twolves might be some inglorious basterds right now, but that motion offense still looks beautiful.

we'll probably end up going 5-1 and go 8 games over .500 only to follow it up with a four game losing streak. It's who we are right now. Life after big yao is tough, but we'll get out from the dark days.

Did anyone else notice how Vinny Del Negro yells at our players from the bench when they're taking shots in front of him? Is that allowed?

I went to the game tonight and boy was I pissed. This loss was on
-Dalembert for not making his free throws, and letting Griffin steal an inbound pass with 40 seconds to go
-McHale/Martin for giving him the last shot of the game, down 2, a 3 pter when he was 6/21 from the field and i think 3/9 (?) from 3
-the referees for not calling an offensive foul on CP3 for shoving lowry onto the ground to make a shot in the final seconds of regulation, not to mention a hell of alot of another no calls and flops by the Clippers

Final thoughts: I would rather have Clutch the Bear on my team, than Samuel Dalembert. He needs to be gone by the deadline. Also, T-Will looked pretty good out there most of the time, still made a couple of boneheaded plays though.
