So yeah, the guy who STARTS is the minor aquisition and the guy who was expected to help of the BENCH is the superstar our season depends on. Got it.

bonus meaning we didn't target him during the offseason...hence we didn't "waste" our offseason trying to get him...he just fell on our laps...

yeah...the guy is key in a good playoff run but I could see early on it was going to be struggle for him to get acclimated in here...if you pinned alot of hopes on him then shame on you for not seeing the signs...

Really ... I have the fastest DSL connection at 6 MB download and I am still having hiccup. I wonder if there is something in the settings.

Do you have cable or DSL?

Yao's ourburst vs Orland seems to have done something negative to his smooth return. That game gave himself some false information that he has totally returned (I know he dis think so and everyone else think so even though he himself said he's only recovered 30%). Indeed, 30% is an objective number for his current level compared to prior to his injury.

Well, who starts and who comes off the bench is irrelevant. Bonzi, if he's in shape, is that elusive 'third scorer' that we've been drooling over for the better part of three seasons now. The fact that Genobili is a bench player now means nothing either.

When in shape/focused, Bonzi Wells >>>> Shane Battier, at least in theory (which was the whole idea of bringing him in).

I think a Jerry Stackhouse-type player off the bench would be more valuable to the Rockets in the playoffs than a Shane Battier-type. I love Shane and all, but it's not like he's Josh Howard or Shawn Marion.

But take the above with a 'IMO' disclaimer...we will just agree to disagree.

Do not use Media player for your mms player. I had the same problem with WMP 11 last time for the magic game. I changed to KMplayer and everything was just fine

    OK, thanks for the clarification.

I thought he would be instrumental to our playoff success or lack thereof, and I still feel that way.

Shame on him for not being professional and making it work, but coming in -- before he ever donned a Rockets uni -- I was (as was the vast majority of Rockets fans if this board was any indication) far more excited about our 'big offseason acquisition' in Bonzi Wells than I was with the Battier move.

Again, this was all 'in theory', meaning BEFORE the benefit of hindsight where we now realize Battier is a pro and Bonzi is the complete opposite of that.

Rafer's tear drop pass is about as good as his tear drop shot.
