yeah, it's like he's his aggressiveness again. he can't do this to us! maybe he's coasting now or something. i think i'll go insane if mac doesnt pick his game up next time

 

Uff. We won. What a game. But our defense was not good. They could stop Yao, but we couldn't stop Brand.
But, that is a win, and that's great. Thanks Tracy and Head. I love you guys. But i think Tracy should play more selfish sometimes.

 

God I wish I was a Clippers fan, because then I would know how totally crushing that 3 by Luther was.

What's up with Chuck Hayes lately? He's put up huge numbers (for him) the past two games. Is he doing anything different, or is Yao being back helping him THAT much?

If he can do this night in and night out, we might not need a new power forward.

 

Ya, i agreed. I am really disappointed by the way yao played the last 2 games(suns and clippers). Getting blocked, offensive turnovers. The team desperately need the pre-injury yao back before the playoffs. Else I just dont see the rockets can go far with this yao in the playoffs!

Actually Yao stopped himself. But we do have trouble with Brand. It might of help if Yao didn't pick up his 3rd so quick.

 

That won't be necessary, remember the guy named Baron Davis?

 

Teams are betting on letting Hayes beat them. His man is always leaving him alone and double teaming either Yao or TMac.

 

I thought Brand was going to put us away. I've always loved the guy. (wish we had him!) He kept blowing by Yao, who was huffin' and puffin', but hangin' in there. It was VERY ironic that Yao blocked Elton's pass and caused the sequence that sealed the win.

Thanks cuiyinghost. KMplayer works great for me. I still occasionally get a few seconds delay, but it is definitely watchable. Although, the entire thing seems to stop a couple of times and I had to restart again.

 

Whew !!!

Finally a lesson that the team can learn but from a win.....

WHEW !!!

Yeah I remember, I was there for that game, that sucked so bad. I learned the true meaning of heckling after that lucky ass shot. T-Mac didn't even play that game either.

...So THAT's how it felt. Wow, it must have hurt.

 

Yao makes Hayes better, Hayes just needs to work a little more on his layups

 

Hayes needs to just be able to stay in games. If he ever gets a break with the refs, we're going to have to pay more for him than we thought. Teams great with Yao.

 

It's always been there, Sam, where have you been?

The only exception was last season's debacle, but he was never healthy at any point during that season (he hurt his back in preseason and again in practice).

McGrady is a big time playmaker, and it goes beyond just shooting the ball.

You're right though that he has done it with more frequency this season, but that's probably due to the fact that he shouldered the responsibility during Yao's injury more than anything else, not because he's more/less capable.
