Championship quality teams always find a way to win when there is no momentum on their side. This is an example of that. And how about Rafer's defense.

And the new nickname for Luther is..........Superhead :D

It's fitting that on steak and bj day, Luther would hit the game winning shot.

It is probably good that we had a game like this. These are the kind of games we are going to have to play and win in the playoffs. Crushing these teams by 20 or 30 every night like we usually do is great, but we still need to have some of the close game/ clutch situation experience, executing in the 4th and down the stretch.

I'm with Deckard... I've been VERY down on Rafer lately, but he came through in a BIG WAY with a steal, a finish on the layup, and then two big free throws after coming up with the loose ball following Yao's HUGE play to knock it loose...

Of course, without TMAC's big shots down the stretch, it wouldn't have mattered, but I'm impressed that our guys kept their heads in the game and did not give up after losing the lead late in the game.

Good job by the team AND the coach! Yes, that's right, I gave JVG props for his coaching job and to Rafer for playing clutch ball down the stretch!!!

    And... Sura faints!!

Not from me! They were driving me crazy, but the last few plays made it all worthwhile. Unreal.

McGrady never ceases to amaze me. he was missing all those shots he made in the clutch earlier. but he has a knack of playing awesom when the game is on the line. thats is a rare gift he has.

I don't feel real good about this game but a win is a win. Losing after having the lead would have hurt.

Except for a couple of very bad passes, good bounce back game for Rafer. As much as anything, he kept himself under control even though his shot was on and didn't fire up more than 10 FGAs. We need more of that. Normally he would have kept shooting and been 8/19 instead of 7/10.
