Barry is fitting right into this team... in just one game.

Kinda supports the "We need better personnel" argument, rather than the "we need a better system."

It's encouraging to see that despite having an off night shooting-wise and a few turnovers down low, Yao didn't hesitate to keep shooting. :)

Barry was great in this game!

I was surprised that Yao played in the beginning of the 2nd quarter, and it seemed to keep his hands hot in the moment.

I liked that last basket by Yao. He hadn't been shooting very well the whole night, so it looked like he just threw it up in order to get closer, grab the offensive rebound, and then throw it down. Shaq does that all the time in order to get easy boards and baskets.

Yao got 15/20 of his points in the first quarter; that tells me a number of things -both good and bad.

Barry's contribution was more than the boxscore can reflect; he made a significant difference. He and Sura both seemed to speed up the game, especially on the offensive end. Both contributed to excellent ball movement. I have a really good feeling about Barry on this particular team. He adds chemistry. Very smart player.

Ming had a dominant first quarter and Jackson shot the lights out. Taylor was on fire from the perimeter. Howard was better than usual, and TMac was TMac.

I want Wilcox to be a Rocket! I really like this kid.

I'm pleased that we won but a lot of hard work still needs to be done.

Lue was a ballhog who took shots who couldn't make.

Lue was not a ballhog, he took open shots. He just didn't make them

LOL! So true, so true! :)

Good win. Can we PLEASE build off of this one now and get this season rolling? Barry is great. His court awarness is superb and really knows what to do when the ball gets in his hands. He is definetly what we need coming off the bench. The PFs actually contributed this game which makes me wonder if all the latest trade talks have spurred them on.

Note to CD: Good win but keep shopping, please!
