For heaven's sake, let's clip the Clippers. Give them a haircut they will never forget.

No reason why we shouldn't win this one easily. Just play a little harder on defense and we win.

 

The Clippers are even more shorthanded than the Rockets. Play at least some defense and it should be a win.

 

Dang! That is some rough chuckles. So we're without Capela, Paul, and Mbah a Moute. This feels like a dangerous game. We have such a great 10 man rotation but we're very weak if missing key players because that great rotation came at the expense of depth.

Would be great to see Bobby Brown step up. All we ever hear is what a never-miss shooter he is, but he hasn't brought that on the big stage like ever. Here's hoping he steps up tonight. We need him. And we need MUCH stronger performances from Anderson, who looked so much better but has reverted to the mean.

The Lakers loss was especially tough because when Ariza hits over 15 points we almost always win. But he did it against the Lakers and there were just too few guys doing it with him and that usually reliable rule became unreliable.

It's hard to think we need another big when we have such a great center rotation but it really does fall apart if we're missing Capela. Black isn't big enough to be an effective rim protector. He's a great third string center but not so great as a second string one.

Hope Harden and Tucker are in good health. We need them too in the worst way.

 

Holy crap stop sitting Clint for a minor injury. Our pnr offense is non existent without him.

I agree with the "Holy crap" comment, but better to make sure this doesn't linger. I'm more concerned about Paul and Harden. Based on what I've read, a lot of it here, what happened to Chris can sometimes keep you out for a long stretch and can be recurring if the player is brought back too soon. James? Ideally, he should be playing reduced minutes until his knee area is A-OK, as the astronauts used to say back in the day.
