I know we can't shoot 50% every single game but I think we need to in order to be a top team. We have to play like this every game to be considered a top team. I hope we can do it...against a good team.

Canoner wasnt giving contructive criticism. He was whining. He was whining cause poor Yao didnt get his shots and touches in the 2nd half. Canoner wanted us to pound the ball into Yao so he could get more shots. Why??? Good idea. Lets have Yao battle it out in the trenches and wear him down a lil bit more with the 2nd half of a back to back coming up in Phoenix tomorrow night. Great idea Canoner. We see how hard Yao has to work to get position, lets make him work even more so he has nothing left for tomorrow tonight. Lets ignore the rest of the team, who were doing just fine bringing the game home in the 2nd half.

Its amazing. People preach and beg for the Rockets to play a team game and when they play one, its still not good enough cause Yao didnt get 20 shots and 30 points.

was I talking to you ?

I know I wasnt cause I have tried talking sense to you before...it's kinda like using my head to beat a hole in a brick wall

    a huge exercise in futility.

and to answer the only question I could make sense out of.

I cheer because I am a fan...I dont expect them to hear me..if I want them to hear me...I go to the games.

My TV is broken... I swear when I checked in at NBA TV it said the Rockets had scored 82 points through 3 quarters. I'm off to Best Buy tomorrow to replace my set.

What a great first game to go to at Toyota Center...the place is awesome!!! Granted I have great seats cetner court 7 rows up, but man I am in love...also checked out the suites where my friend was sitting, pretty nice. ONly problem is lack of fans....maybe it was because of hannukah? lol i sorta skipped it tonight....Fans in my section were great, this one nut drunk guy convinced everyone to do the wave!! hope I get to go to a bunch more games even if I buy cheap tix.

It just didn't really happen for Yao in the 2nd half. The team sorta played the 2nd half like it was a blowout. Whoever had the ball shot it. It wasn't really hurting so they kept doing it. He shouldn't have even played in the 4th much.

It's not the first time Rockets guards refused to get Yao involved when he was on fire. That's why it's SO difficult for Yao to score 30 points in a game.

The Rockets would be fools to let Yao walk regardless of whether he meets his potential as a superstar or stays on the verge of being just a star if only because of the amount of money he brings to the Rockets. I wonder if Yao's presence on the Rockets will give me caproom for the Rockets to spend on and bring in more players.

I hate so much that people abuse the term "YOF". Typical Texas cowboy style. I shouldn't be surprised though. That guy in oval office invented "you are either with us or against us". Now it is "agree with me or you are YOF".

By the way I didn't catch the game but I'm glad we won and from the sound of it, it sounds like we won the right way. Was a nice fitting to end my b-day if that's the case. :)

This is one of the best games I have seen Rocket played for a long time. It appears to me we and the other teams have adapted and adjusted to our defense system.

If we don't compliment that with nice ball movement, it is tough on ourselves. First, the offense won't work like the games against SA and Minnesota. Then the defense did not work as effective as earlier in the season. The two combined will cost us some games.

However, if our ball movement is as good as tonight. It gives us the momentum and intensity at both ends. It filters through the whole team with the touches and confidence. Good work, good win, Rocket!

So somebody who says that Yao should move to another team because his career won't go anywhere in Houston isn't a YOF? That guy was really supporting the rox there, right?

Yao is a TEAM player why can't you be? I see that you value personal glory over a good team. Enjoy your time at this site for ROCKETS TEAM fans.
