ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 11/28/2014

How come the Clippers are worse this year? Can't see us winning this one given recent history against them, though

 

We need to send Tarik to a crash course in flopping . Griffin's post ups are mostly bullying his way closer. If Tarik can do what other players do to Dwight, he might just slow him down a tad.

 

Rockets should win in a blowout.

 

Well the last couple of games I thought we'd lose and we won, so I'll go on the record and say we have no chance tonight.

hopefully we can capitalize on the clippers catching a team-wide case of the ITIS

 

ehh clippers are one of the elite teams. they swept last seasons series. kings and mavs were are a level below them. this could get ugly, but rockets have been full of surprises

maybe canaan wants to show paul who the best undersized pg in the league is? dmo can tell blake to catch him if he can. ariza can finally break out of his 8/9 game shooting slump.

 

Every game I've watched live (online, not in the arenas as I'm out of the country), we've ended up losing. I very much intend to watch the next 2 games live, so I predict a 2-game losing streak.

I sure hope Rox prove me wrong on this one.

 

This team isn't anything like last year's team. All bets are off, and I like their chances of beating the Clippers.

It's not confirmed yet, but McHale seemed to strongly hint at Dwight being out tomorrow night. I wish they'd stop with this day-to-day routine since it's starting to look like that ain't the case. If he needs to sit for another week or two, so be it. Just say so.

this is going back since at least the 90's, rockets front office never gives out clear timetables on player injuries. i remember otis thorpe being day-to-day for weeks on end with a strained shoulder and the team putting out the same exact statement each week "he just has to get the soreness out of there"
