Garuba should play from the bench or even at 4 instead of Bruno, who is like 24. 4 years older than Garuba. It’s obvious who should be the priority for development.

How did Destiny look? He had the best +/- .. 6 boards, 2 steals pretty good in 12 minutes .. 4 fouls 2 turnovers not so much lol .. its all good. These guys are out there building chemistry. Hardest part of the formula.

He looked good with rebounds, hustle and finishing at the rim. It's when he puts the ball on the floor that it gets nasty.

Was hustling and feeling it inside, then he air balled a 3 two feet left of the rim and turned back into a Pumpkin.

    Foul trouble neutralized Zubac.

I still have a hard time believing Mathews is a better option. Really strange too because JC flashed some good promise all last year. I think he got himself in too deep with that Fertitta girl Im telling ya'll!

Now the elephant in the room -- Scooter's hero ball wrecked another game? 6 turnovers is terrible. Still missing layups?

He was absolutely awful in the first quarter, got benched and came back and performed well in the second half. He drives in the lane and just stops. He has regressed so far this season so far

I feel the reason he stops is because the front office doesn't want any midrange jumpshots. Him and Jalen hesitate on those easy open midrange shots so therefore they become predictable to guard and turn it over.

Yup. I don't know how many times I screamed at the tv screen for KPJ to pass to the open Jabari or other players who were open. It seems like teams know how to defend the Rockets when they pack the painted area whenever KPJ and/or JG start their drive. They know that they will drive in, stop, and make a bad pass when they are stranded and surrounded. It keeps happening but I don't know if anyone shows these two guards the tapes and, teach them to correct these bad tendencies. The early season has become a FUBAR and the supposed-to-be star players don't seem to be learning anything. Individual talents and skills are one thing, but these young players need to be taught the way Jordan was taught by Phil Jackson to become a team player if these two talented guards want to be successful.

ah brother you have such a short memory and giving too much credit to rockets and silas... hes famous for going from what works and sticking to what doesnt...but dont worry you can comfort yourself that its probably some sort of 4d chess (translation=tanking) strategy from the genius management... and its all for the best

Didn't he worked personally with Barbra Turner last year. Now that she left for WNBA, who is Josh's his new Barbra?

I hope whatever development plan Silas regime has for each player, they're making sure progress are being kept. That guys are not lost in shuffle in practice, independent of actual playing time.

The lightbulb will come on when KPJ and Green are willing to extend the play with their dribble and bring it back out. When that happens, other players can make cuts to the rim, or Sengun can post someone up with a size mismatch. There's no reason to constantly put up off-balance, contested layup attempts. Keep your dribble going, extend the play, and find a teammate. And you can double back for the layup every once in a while.

To create this kind of offense, we'll have to run and not walk the ball upcourt.
