This team needs to be doing a lot of Green and Sengun pnr possessions. That alone should be the reason Silas is fired. The rarity at which they occur should be a fireable offense.

From the pnr, you break into many possibilities. Either a Green drive, or a screen and pop where Sengun works in space in the high post where the Green, Tari, KMJ etc become explosive cutting options, or a simple roll where Green feeds Sengun.

But I think that a Green Sengun pnr should be the base of what this offense centers around and everything revolves around that. That should be the future system ignoring the potential of a heavy hitter like Wemby comes along and changes the entire game.

LA Clippers: Keys to the Game vs. the Houston Rockets

The LA Clippers are 25-6 (.806) when winning the rebounding margin since the start of the 2021-22 season — tied for seventh-best among NBA teams. The Houston Rockets have averaged 42.5 rebounds per game (4,036 rebounds/95 games) since the start of the 2021-22 season — tied for third-lowest among NBA teams.

If Rockets does rebounds, Clips has no chance.

U figured with kpj, he would utilize the PNR more often. If green could do it, surely kpj could also, but nah man would rather attempt to iso vs the defender + help defense to score.
If he had harden's ability to draw fouls, i could see him doing that and wouldn't mind it. Watching him run into 2-3 defenders into a turnover is quite hard to swallow.

I quit betting 5 years ago. I would have loved to bet money on Rockets tonight. In Barkley terms the win is GUARANTEEED

Right now, that is the exact opposite of what should happen.

Sengun is neither a roll and lob threat nor a pop and 3 threat. So all that would do is give both defenders a free shot at Green, or Sengun the chance to set a frustration screen and foul...

It would be good if they could get to the stage where that PnR could be effective and Sengun could hit the 3 reliably enough to be a threat, or receive the ball and hit corner shooters in Smith/ Gordon on the roll. But right now I can see why it isn't used..

Draymond green is neither a lob threat or a 3pt shooter yet the warriors use him in the pnr just fine
