Playing close to someone with speed and handles is begging to get beat.

Playing far off is begging to give up a jump shot.

That's why some players are simply ungaurdable and the only thing you can do is double them and hope they pass the ball and no one else beats you.

Crawford when hot cannot be defended. That 3rd time they Iso'd him they should have immediately doubled him instead of leave Lin out on a island like that.

 

Beverly shows the quickness and can play D. Like what he did to Crawford.

He did that the last three games and he never missed (one time each game). They should exploit that.

 

LMAO so I should trust your eyes over Morey who has said repeatedly that Lin reminds him of Kyle Lowry defensively. That he is very disruptive on the defensive end. But your eye test knows more than Morey. Okay there buddy.

 

L.A Clippers are an elite team, you expect us to beat a team that recently had 17 game winning streak??

 

This is such a terrible bad game for the Rockets. The Rockets can't hit an open shot, misses tons of FTs again and bad stupid turnovers while the Clippers are hitting everything. Crawford is on fire and Matt Barnes is knocking down every wide open 3.

If the Rockets were able to knock down at least half of their open 3s and some FTs, they will be in great shape right now. But the next few games will be very dim if the Rockets continues to brick shots after shots and can't F****** make a FT. Shooting around 50% from the free throw line is just unacceptable as a team. Especially they been doing that just a few days ago too.

 

Well, we probably aren't going to make the playoffs. I don't know what happened to that team on the winning streak, but we look like a lottery team right now.

 

If the Rockets' starting shooting guard James Harden can't outplay the Clippers' backup shooting guard Jamal Crawford, the Rockets don't deserve to win.

 

Harden was on Green right???

Green went 3-3 fg 3-3 from the line with 0 turnovers in the 3rd quarter for 11pts.. how was he better defensively?

 

I have NEVER heard Morey say that and I listen to a lot of interviews.

lol at harden playing defense. if lin got lit like an xmas tree, harden got lit like time square, and so did asik. It was a lack of team defense, which I worried about halfway through the second qtr.
funniest highlight was that sequence in the 4th were you thought there was a play being called for harden. Only to find out, he was in the clippers huddle chatting with them. Maybe what strip clubs are open on tuesday?

 

our problem is going cold for 1 quarter a game thats what usually happens with us nola game , boston game , philly game this game and that because of a lack of a post game , most nba team when they cant hit a shot just throw it into the post opens up the game , man if we could get big baby/millsap/al jeff for cheap that would be awesome

Depends more on how hot your opponent is. If he's making outside shot you take that chance and play him closer.

 

No but I expected us to at least be competitive especially when they were without CP3 and we are at home.

Then again I also expected that against Boston, the 76ers and the Hornets, but I guess they are elite teams as well.
