Yeah, Beverly plays some good D, good penetration, and hits a 3 in 2 minutes of playing time. Looking good! Lin with a wasted double double today.

Playing far off your opponent and jumping to act like you're contesting the shot isn't that good either. It's pretty much an uncontested shot because the defender knows you're not going to be even close to blocking it.

If Rockets don't get new PG, Bev will be starting PG next season...

I dont' know, I have a good feeling about Beverley. Saw a bit of his games with Vipers, and he looked good there too.

Okay, off to the Fire McHale thread to complain about him not playing Beverley more! :) Hope he can keep this up.

Don't know what to say no excuses. IF this team is to really compete for a playoff spot it looks like once again it will look to the trading deadline to get some one that will help. Every year it seems like the same old song, Rockets look like they are on the verge to something great and turn around the other way. What tease:grin:

Don't know many guys who laugh when the other team makes a basket on their own player. Maybe you should try rooting for your team.

I know Clippers are better than us. But we gotta make those free throws.

    Good debut by Beverley though.

I get pissed off when I read a Lin fan say, "it doesn't matter if Lin's foot is on the 3 point Lin as long as he shoots in rhythm"

WTF? It's that **** there that makes me angry at them thus Lin.

Here we go, Linophiles.... Lin had a good offensive game but was absolutely lit up like a Christmas tree on defense. Harden played better defensively but had 5 turnovers. Our backcourt has to carry us, and they have not recently.

I would have sat both of them. For one they both can use the rest, and two, they need to think about it. I don't care that Lin had a double double or that Harden had 23 points... They did not defend or control the tempo or flow of the game.

You are so concerned I am ****ting on your precious golden boy, that it never crossed your mind I was complimenting him. I would sit him because he is capable of playing better... notice I did not say to sit POS like PPat or Morris.

This team needs a win bad, a rested backcourt goes a long way.
