They initially called a 3 but on review decided it was a 2 instead as his toe was on the line.

 

not really happy with the team defense. they have to get it together, asik is losing his man for some backdoor penetration . =(

 

Actually you're correct that they've only given him 1 3 pointer on the boxscore. Odd, the TV guys said it was changed to a 3.

 

We're at home..AT HOME! It's bad enough we're fouling and the refs falling for every flop, slowing down the game which not surprisingly favours the Clippers. We have no audience to back the team up so at least we should have stats right or even in our favour!!

It means he's lacking confidence shooting from distance so he's inching up to get within his range. He needs to set his feet better as he'll get a bunch of those throughout the year and all those points will add up. But, come on, how do you criticize a dude for making shots?? Kobe, Durant, etc. makes a living on long 2s.

 

2 or 3 Lin still needs to learn how to step behind the Lin if hes gonna go for 3 there been alot of times where they have to go and check it

 

Thats what doesnt make sense, team chooses whatever strategy that fits the personnel they have, this is what we got and its working. Its like saying the Clippers wouldnt have won 17 straight if CP3 didnt play well....Guess what,he played well and they won 17 straight.

The commentators announced it was changed during the game. So, either they're wrong, or the box score is not correct right now.

 

People complaining about Lins foot being on the line need to stop. What part of Lin being a poor 3 point shooter do you not understand. He needs to make shots from deep. I would rather he shoot nothing but long 2's than brick 3's. Pick your battles. Let him keep his foot on the line all day long. If he start hitting long 2's teams will defend him honestly & that will open the driving lanes up for the entire team & will make it easier for him to get by his man.

 

Lin, with 3 fouls, he's gotta be careful.

 

Yeah Parson's defense on Crawford has been less than stellar to say the least. At least he's shooting well though.

Well the Clippers can play a slow grind out game as well as a fast run and gun game. I think that's why the Clippers homer announcers were making that distinction.
