A win will bring us within 2 games of MEM. Let's go, Rockets.

AB is the one who used to give us wins vs. the Celtics. Hopefully Kyle and Chase are on their game tonight, KM can be his best efficient self and JHill and 2Pat can hold their ground vs. the Celtic bigs.

    Tough game.

If Celtics are really aiming for that first seed then they will come out and play like champions. If they play careless then we might steal this one.

Once again, we need perfect game from multiple ppl as we will always need when we are playing against bad teams.

A Win = 1.5 games behind only.... with a good chance of winning next 2 against struggling or bad teams will get us closer. Loss is not going to be the end of the world.... I expect a loss.... and then bounce back next 2 games.... A win is just going to be like a treat.

Scola (knee) returned to practice Thursday and "looks good to go" for Houston's game against Boston on Friday, Houston Chronicle writer Jonathan Feigen reports.

Spin: Scola's owners probably want to wait for more confirmation before locking him into their lineups, but it's looking like Scola is expected to make his return against Boston. Consider him an optimistic version of the 'questionable' tag.

If Scola's back then Brad Miller's stuck on the bench. I see this as a win-win.

I did not know Scola was a slave? Jk. Anyways, if we win this one, that is one game closer to the playoffs. Must take it one game at a time. If Memphis looses one, that gets us even closer. We will get there slowly.

i think we have a good chance to get a W here.

    Rondo playing hurt
    PPat can handle Garnet
Hayes can handle big baby/kristic/and O'neals are probably out.
Kmart will have a hard time covering Allen but I think CLee will do a good job.
Bud is going to get handled by Pierce.

We might need to move bud to the bench and put Lee in the starting lineup and Play williams. Williams has better size and lateral movement than Bud.

    We can win this

Not sure what level of a defender Pierce is, but Bud should just go at him. Take it to the rim and make Pierce work.

Boston is always tough, but we have a better chance now that Perk is gone. If PPat can get points vs Garnett i'll be impressed.

PPat is good, but he's a rookie coming out of the D-league...and Garnet is an All-Star Veteran.

    Here's the Celtics current situation:

Rondo's playing hurt and has been below par for weeks. He looks worn out, doesn't drive much, and doesn't have much lift.

The Celtics Big 4 have played poorly as a unit recently. They just seem a bit run down having racked up so many minutes due to the team playing without a third of their roster for most of the year.

Their perimeter defense has lapsed recently.

On the other hand, Pierce has been consistently good.

Krstic has played well for them since day one, and Green has come on very strong in recent games.

Big Baby and Delonte West are now back from injury, making them much stronger off the bench and allowing their starters to play less.

Murphy has started to come on, finally shaking off considerable rust.

The current active bench: Big Baby, Green, Murphy, West, and Arroyo.

Still out with injuries: both O'Neals and Von Wafer. (Too bad about Wafer. He was just starting to play really well when he got a calf injury.)

Not playing much: Bradley and Pavlovic.

Budinger is going to have a long night, having to guard both Paul Pierce and Jeff Green, and no back-up to help him out.

Today Adelman is probably going to wish he had T-Will available.

2Pat has the ability to lock down Green, if need be.
