    Fran said it well:

    The rats are jumping ship.
8 minutes to go. All indications are that the streak is over and here are a bunch of swells in the mid-court seats fleeing up the aisles to run to their limos.

OK, so they lose tonight. OK, so they get hammered.

After 22 in a row -- the second longest streak in NBA history -- if you want to look yourself in the mirror in the morning and call yourself a real fan, you stay to the end and as the final seconds tick down you rise to your feet and you yell your head off and you blow the roof off the building and you salute the Rockets for the accomplishments.

    You show your class.

Really proud of this team. I mean, if you look at it, they were out-talented on most nights but they won 22 straight based on heart, hustle, and determination.

Let's get real. We have a really offensive challenged front line. To come so far and get the #1 seed in a loaded Western conference is unreal.

    Props to them.

My only disappointment has been really passive approach to last couple of big games by Tmac. The man has problem handling pressure. It's mostly mental and Rockets will have to win despite this shortcoming from their star player.

This is the first time since this run began that I could actually tell how much worse our lineup is than the other teams... and that's very worrisome. Tomorrow's game will tell us all we need to know about how forreal this team is.

scoring a season low in points give any fan a right to be pissed.... Im going to call t-mac a giant p***y right now because to me he is one... doesnt mean im not a true rocket fan... I always thought Mcgrady has little heart when he plays and in this 22 game winning streak he didnt honestly prove anything... He did not carry the team.... This 22 game winning streak is a testament to great team play and our role players stepping up... Mcgrady did nothing different in this 22 game winning streak that he did do when we were loosing at the beginning of the season... He still lacks a drive to relentlessly attack the basket.... Kobe, Lebron, paul.. .etc those players deserve to be considered mvps.... When is the last time kobe or lebron scored 8 points and took only 8 shots... Dont tell me they do not get doubled. They find a way to score.... When Mcgrady does have the rare occasion when he is isoed at the wing, he will stare down at his opponent for 10 seconds before he does something allowing the defense to set up and stop him.

I know many will disagree or take this statement a little more than what it is, but I will be almost more impressed with a big victory tomorrow, than I was with the streak... Our backs are against the wall right now, the World is waiting for us to just fall apart, we go into hostile territory in New Orleans, them fighting for the number one spot, Let's show them what were made of!

I hope the team can learn from this loss. Rafer was becoming a little bit overconfident and showing some cockiness. At the end of the first half, he turned the ball over and that changed the whole game.

RA had horrible substitions today....He cant put harris in the game if our threes arent falling....THIS TEAM CAN ONLY WIN IF TWO THINGS HAPPEN...3 pointers and defense....we had no 3 pts falling so harris becomes a liability....HEAD should be in there instead...the game fell out of reach early in the third...and im tired of mac getting a free pass...when hes off sit his ass down...hes no different than any other rocket

I THINK AARON BROOKS CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN MCGRADY
HE MIGHT HAVE EVEN HAD MORE POINTS

Well, there is not much we can do about it. It's not a shame to lose the best team in the NBA.

Like Matt Bullard said, I am kind of happy that the streak is now over, it has been riding the Rockets back for a long time 48 DAYS!! Now that they have finally lost, they keep put the streak behind them and move on and focus on the playoffs.
