    I just don't see why anything that Charles Barkley has to say about the Rockets should be treated as important or even relevant. I had no idea so many folks here looked to him for affirmation about the Rockets.

    Barkley is just going to say he picked Boston all along, when actuality he picked Orlando, then Boston, then Detroit, now who knows, I dont give a shi!t what comes out of his mouth anymore.

    And they are looking in the wrong place. No doubt, he has a national forum, but has almost never had anything good to say about the Rockets. He thinks Les owes him money, and he is bitter about it. He actually mentioned his contract dispute with the team on the show a few months ago.

    actually barkley gave us props last show. i think it'll be something like this:


    Ernie: "So the Rockets have gone on an impressive 22 game winning streak Your thoughts?"

    Charles: "It's remarkable, simply remarkable...to win 22 games in the NBA....I don't care who you play. To win 22 games is remarkable. However, the streak ends tonight.

    Kenny: "They've been playing great defense, and they don't turn over the ball. When you do those things, you're going to win, but they're not a title contender.

    Charles: "The streak ends tonight. Where's my krispy kreme?"

    Cue picture of Charles eating donuts

    All: "Ha ha ha ha ha"

    I all I ask is the Rockets play hard every possession, nasty defense, and run the offense... let the chips fall. As long as they don't get out of character and get blown out- stupid turnovers, bad shot selection, no hustle plays...

    Just play your game Rockets and you will be in it late in the 4th qtr.

    If the Rockets play up to their capabilities I expect a close game coming down to the last 4 min of the game.


    Rockets are 'amazing' and they pull out the game 102-100. Last possession stop on Boston secures the victory. :)

    Tim Legler actually picked us to win last night on Sprotscenter. I was pretty surprised. The first national braodcaster to actually pick us to beat a winning team. This is the actually the wrong game to jump on the bandwagon, but hey, at home, catching them on the second night of a back to back you gotta like us.

    Nobody escapes the Texas Triangle with a sweep!!
