Yao is a passive p***y (will never demand the ball) and his teammates just take advantage of that. Plain simple.

An embarassing loss like this will not get the message across the board. It will take 4-5 consecutive first round losses and somehow a gently pissed Yao going out of the town for the Rockets to get it.

Some of the FTs are not from shoot attempts. Even you count 12 FTs as 6 shoot attempts, he still only had 13 over all and that happend on one night our perimeter shooters can't hit anything. Then you have a taste of the idea that Yao didn't have enough touches for quite a while. Well, I don't know if T Stoke would agree on this tonight , and you know, it is always Yao's own faults for the lack of touches. ;)

Just one of those nights where NOTHING went right. Poor shooting and missed freethrows were the killers, plus some scrub named Blount.

Good game by the Celtics.. if we had made atleast half of our FT's and hit all the open shots we got.. it would have been much closer and maybe even a W. They played Wesley the best I've seen someone play him. Nothing was falling. The next game we will have the same exact shots and they will go on, and everyone is happy again. Defensively, we let Blount open and he hit open shots. When he wasn't in the game Ricky Davis was driving in and creating for his team. Not a bad game execution-wise for the Rockets, just a bad shooting night. Overall I'm not angry or too dissappointed, we came back within 9 and if 2-3 more shots would have fallen it would be real close. I think thats all i'm going to do in this thread, please don't bash this team for their effort. It was there, the shots just did not fall.

maybe a lose is not that bad, at least it can release our pressure, doesn't it?

We lost the game because of our shooting and Blount. Who was suppose to be gaurding blount. I know they were double teaming off him but after he hit all those shots why did they still leave him wide open. Yao needs to stop getting those stupid fouls. He got like 2 fouls in a 1 minute span. I wish the team would go to him more but he needs to stay on the court and not let walker steal the ball from. Yao is like a foot taller than walker and the team should have thrown the ball a little higher.

Yeah..but we weren't really doing anything.

Good job JVG trying a bunch of things to try to get back in it..just couldn't come back all the way.

And I thought John Chaney did a great job.

Sucks that Yao is so passive. But it's just one game. I remember Suns and Sonics games..he was great and owning..so active.

Good game..now on to the next!

    YEAH SCRUB BLOUNT COULDN'T MISS!

You are pathetic. TMac was trash tonight, and this was the reason of loss.

Give credit to the Celtics, they are for real...and they hit their shots.
We couldn't hit ours, the effort was there but marred with sloppiness.

It was just one of those nights.

    No.
Except barry, everyone is responsible for this loss. This is just an average game for Yao ,below-average game for wesley, bad game for Tmac and Sura. Everyone has the share.

Somehow agree. I wasn't too comfortable when everyone on the team talked about championship. We fans can fantasize as much as we want to. But as a team, without any success, only after a hot streak, get hyped up that much, is just not health. Look at the bright side, maybe this team can cool their heads and exam themselves and their games. This loss could well be a turning point. But I don't want to see quotes from the players, something like "we just had bad luck, our shots didn't go it" etc. You can have your cool shooting nights, but at least you could put some more effort in defense. That's how great teams win ugly games. We still have a long way to go. JVG should ban the title talk from players in the locker room and to the press.

When the opposing team's 3rd tier centers takes 2-3 times the shots that Yao takes in a string of games, you know that there is something seriously wrong.

Yeah, they hit everything and we miss everything. I am so surprised we just lost by 9. I still have the feeling we are much better team than Celtics. It's just our off night. Such a pity we do not have the opportunity to prove it in this season.
