Boy, you are really not going to let up tonight about Yao, are you?

They have tried to go to him a LOT, look at his freaking FT attempts and not just his FG attempts:rolleyes: (he is not shootnig lights out from the FT line either, but so is everyone else on the Rockets)

This is just a bad game, we have to look forward. And no, trades are not needed after every loss we have:rolleyes:

When exactly did Walker become a good player?

Ainge trades Walker away, the Celtics wallow in mediocrity, and then he trades to get Walker back. Now they're much improved and he gets credit for it. Weird situation.

He fit Boston well. Pierce plays much better with Walker.
Two seasons ago they were a competitive team in the East

they did goto him, but sometimes just too late. after probably 35 bricks. and only after jvg called a timeout and insisted so, would those guys actually keep feeding yao the ball.
another reason for tonight's bad game is that yao's FTs didnt fall in.
anyway, i expect a lot of inside-out plays in the playoff. Your playoff opponent won't give you so many nice looks at the rim beyond the arc. the rox have to keep feeding our big fella till the defense starts to collapse more and more on yao, then our backcourts can begin to do their job.

16 point down 12 mins to go it can be done. all we need is someone to get hott from outside and yao to play big in the fourth.

It looks more like matchup problems. Rockets miss Jho tonight, but EVERYONE is missing open shots, layups, and even techs.

Walker was never a bad player. It was his commanding personality that ticked off Ainge, who didn't like a player taking control of a team. Luckily for Celtics, both guys have had changes of hearts. If Boston goes deep into playoff this spring, you gotta give credit to Ainge for being a shrewd GM/president.

The Yao part is doable, the hot shooting from outside is almost out of the question right now.

But the funny thing is we wouldn't even be discussing this if the Rockets knocked down all the freakin' WIDE OPEN shots they had. But that is just how the game rolls, sometimes you make them (which is most of the time in our case) and sometimes you don't.

Don't forget that almost ALL of the teams we might face in the playoffs (Dallas, Sonics) are perimeter teams pretty much.

And freakin' Blount is HOT! That just tells you more than anything else it is not our night.
