ClutchFans Game Thread: Celtics @ Rockets 2/26/2007

A GREAT point....this is a game that JVG needs to make some adjustments on defense.

JVG's entire defensive scheme is to pack it in and make them beat us over the top, which works against a good number of teams....

But teams with athletic wing players and good 3 point shooters are a tough matchup for the Rockets.

I hope there are some adjustments....can't lose to another sorry Eastern Conference team.

Better be a win for us. No excuse to lose to the worst team in the NBA. Final score, Rox 110 - 87 Celtics.

 

This is a back to back game, I guess not easy to win.

 

I hope T-Mac plays, Rockets win.

That would suck if we lost this game...There record is pretty crappy but Paul Pierce is a heck of a player...

Oh dear . We should still be able to beat the Celtics w/out Tracy. I hope..

 

I am having flash backs from last year. I would drive to the basket on most every play. Hopefully they won't go into bombs away brickfest mode like last season. Howard, Wells, and Battier better be on top of their game. Hopefully, Alston won't be throwing up prayers from mid-court, and no "floaters" ever! No TMac is scary.

 

I don't think we will need to worry about our defense. Unlike atl game we should be better prepared for this game!!

 

Hope syders gets more time to play now!!

 

I hope I see Jake tonight again..........that would be good for him to start getting some good PT with these scrub teams...............IMO

 

V-mac to the rescue. Snyder still gets no playing time until 20 sec before the final buzzer.

Bonzi gets limited minutes because our main offensive weapon will be Rafer.

 

i think as long as we keep pierce some what in check we can still win easily. the celts have the worst record for a reason.

 

^and its a home game which means we'll have the support of the red rowdies, ya'll better bring your A-game!

 

uh w/o tmac and yao, our group of players are WORSE than the celtics. if pierce is hot, this game is over.

 

Damn that's a problem. I know alot are saying blowout win, Boston ain't nothing etc. I honestly think that the Celtics aren't that bad of a team. When they went on that 19? losing streak it was without Pierce. Now he's back to lead the young talent they got.
Anyway hopefully the Rockets win, but the statistics without T-Mac aren't speaking for us.

all guys who could sink us with out McGrady out there.

We are gonna have trouble matching up. It will be a tough win if we get it.

No!!!. I do not know if we can win the game. One thing is sure that Rafer will take lots of shots, good or not because other player do not want to take the shots even they are open.

 

is this going to be on FSN or KNWS?
