    Enough is enough!
Yao and Tmac combine for 60+points to carry the team over the Celtics while our 3point shooters finally find the hoop.
I still believe. Time to put an end to this madness.

Well the same thing was true for a little team called the LA LAKERS from 99-03 and they managed to win three titles not be 4-12 to start a season  my prediction, the better team wins and the good guys loose again:
    ROX 83
    CELTS 95
    YAO 26 and 7 , TMac 18 and 12 rebs

Ill make a stab at what the starting lineup should be:
PG- R. Alston (if back and healthy)
    SG- L. Head
    SF- TMac
    PF- S. Swift
    C - Yao, of course

This is the only lineup we should have out there. I hate to break it to everyone but D. Wesley is not a starting caliber SG anymore. Start some fresh young and quick legs for Heaven's sake. Im so tired of this rediculous lineups that VG presents and depends on. IMHO we need fast, explosive, penetrating players who can move the ball up the court, quickly, yes quickly like every other legite NBA team.

    Pf - Juwan Howard
    Sf - Tracy McGracy
    C - Yao Ming
    Sg- Latrell Sprewell
    Pg- Engelbert Humperdinck

Paul Pierce plays good defense on Tmac, and Celts swarm Yao.

No one on the Rockets can stop Ricky Davis. He goes off once again and Celtics win.

The tension between optimism and realism prevents me from making a prediction.

This tension also manifests in my bowels, so I will be heading to the bathroom now. Thank you, and good day.

All that pre-season optimism down the drain so far. Stromile looks like the same aloof player as he was in Memphis. Head has been a really nice surprise with his play. Yao is inconsistent and lumbering. This is not what I envisioned before the year started. Yet, I still think we can turn it around.

Heres my prediction. The minute, no, the second that Yao gets mad and b**** slaps somebody or pulls a kung fu on somebodys face and lets out a Bruce Lee-ish type yell, THAT is when the Rockets turn the corner. Yao commands no respect, he needs to fix that, and he is the only one that can.

Rockets, come on, get some win for your loyal fans! You got the largest fan polulation in the whole world more than any sports team. Do you know how many people watch your game in Asia? Play like NBA team, not WNBA :D

Just might win this one, but, more likely, the funk continues and so do the losses. I've lost confidence in this team, because, they appear to have lost confidence in themselves.

This is the exact lineup I want. I don't know if JVG has the foresight or the balls to do it though. JVG needs to shake this thing up. Even though Juwon Howard is ten times smarter on the court than Swift, combining Howard and Yao together equals the slowest frontline in the league. Every penetrating guard knows this. Let's get some young legs in there. Swift is a big time weakside shotblocker, let him establish some meaningfull minutes with Yao and T-Mac to see what kind of chemistry develops. If moving Swift in the starting lineup for 10 to 15 games doesn't work then I would consider trading him. I would like to see this team establish a lineup for the future.

I'm not quite sure if Swift is headed for the starting lineup but I agree that Head has shown enough that he usurps Wesley, if Alston is back. If Lafrentz kills us with another barrage of three's I'm going to run out on the floor and punch someone Artest style.
