    Post of the year.

And the follow up was great to, "what are you, five years old!?"

small point but the 1st game was 23 days ago, not 6 weeks.

Good read, we played as a team. Some good offense. Much better defense.

Be interesting to see if Rafer sticks around and how he fits in. Stro showed some hope - still a project but hopefully showing some IQ by April.

    DWes is still looking gone.

Sura could raise the energy level 15-20 minutes a night if he comes back in january. Head should be playing really well by playoff time.

    Yes.
I think swift should have more playing time because he is what we really want him to smelt into into our team.
Also Bowen's husstle help us defence and let the Boston had less opportunity to shoot 3 point which was our biggest problems in the beginning games especially vs Mem.
We should move Head to start PG because he has shown us what can do and he will be better as season goes on.

Great win. I am still worried about TMac. He hasn't had any dunk this year.

The "X" factor that won this game for us? JVG's decision to insert Bowen into the starting lineup, which disrupted and frustrated Ricky Davis and seemed to rub off on the rest of his teammates, who were hustling on defense and diving for loose balls and playing tough-nosed basketball, even DA played good defense on Davis.

Great effort level and hustle tonight, and I can't help but think that Bowen set the tone for that, along with Yao and McGrady's excellent defense.

    Yeah, he deserves another start.

Remember Kurt Rambis. That dude had no business being on the floor with Magic, Kareem, and Worthy. But he came up with scrap play after scrap play and made significant contributions to those Lakers championship teams because of his heart and desire.

This team is so hard to figure out. Tonight, and the Hawks game, they looked good, showcasing a team that should play above .500 and looking forward to their starting PG to come back to make a big run. They almost looked like they were toying with the competition, making it look easy to blow them out.

Then in other games, like against Memphis, they look lost and unmotivated and a team that needs a complete overhaul.

I know that is a pretty good difference in level of competition, but it will be hard to figure what this team really needs (time to gel and get acclimated, or new players) until we can find some level of consistency.

Maybe JVG found something starting Bowen at SF though.

watched the game on Fox-Boston. The celtics announcers said Tyota center was the quietest place they have been to. They could hear pin-drop from 3 rows up. After Scalabrany (sp?) elbowed Yao and was taking free throws, the crowd finally started some noise. The announcers actually enjoyed it, describing it as "soundly booing".

btw the celtics pre-game host was the biggest Yao hater ever. He had to say 'soft' at least twice with every Yao name mentioned.

Very solid game, good to see some real basketball finally.

TMac was TMac, we all know what he brings.

Yao: Even though the points weren't there, he played much better post defense and seemed to get better position downlow for rebounds.

Howard: Made a couple of baskets, that's about it.

Bowen: Fly'n Ryan was everywhere on the court tonight, really disrupted Ricky Davis all night, Good game by Bowen.

Wesley and DA: No shows once again, DA played some nice D tonight, but we can't have our SGs not be able to shoot.

Head: Luther is really the highlight to our dull season. Besides some rookie turnovers, he continues to shoot the ball very well.

Swift: Finally some energy from this guy. He played very well tonight, had good energy downlow for rebounds, made some nice moves to the basket. He needs to play like this everynight for some more consisten minutes.

That's too bad. We did win this game but the win is ugly. And I think mostly the win is because of Celtics' bad play. Just like the Hawks game. Now I don't want to predict the results of the coming 6 games in west coast. It doesn't seem promising to me.
We still don't find the right way to play. It's still Tmac's one-person show.
The worst thing is JB got injured again. Just heard he shot 3s really well in the practice :(

Heinson and that other announcer are the biggest Dickheads.. They have been bashing the Rockets for years. I am so glad that I didn't have to hear Heinsohn all night. I have always hated the Celtics even Larry Bird. I don't care how good he was he was always an arrogant ass !! Screw the Celtics :D

UgHHHH Steve Nash is the MVP and probably the best point guard in basketball. T-Mac is a two guard and really hes not the one we need to always count on for assists, that would be "Skip to my injured ass," who I could care less if he ever comes back..

Ya, he could barely put weight on that thing. At his age, it's just going to be mroe serious and take longer to get over. It's really unfortunate since we really need his shooting on this upcoming road trip, this next stretch of games is absolutely CRUCIAL.

It's bad when your best 3-pt shooter is a rookie, even though Head is shooting lights out, it's gonna be hard to win games when your 2 primary SGs can't shoot worth a lick right now.
