What's sad is we say that EVERY season.
Which is why, we need to try to move on from Yao and Tmac and look towards the future. I'm tired of those two guys holding the team hostage with their injuries.

It is funny how people bash Anderson after one game and now he does fine. It is hard to be on your game every night. People need to be patient.

Yeah, but without them, we have literally no shot of winning anything.

That would be my hope, abc2007.

I'll settle for consistency from Carl, for starters....

I'm sure such condition is quite common here.
The team's inconsistancy always causes our emotinal inconsistancy.

I never saw what people saw in him. He wasn't long or explosive. He had zero special qualities, but at least at the very least u would think he could blk shots and rebound. It looks like he can't even do that.

Landry has been the Rockets best player through the first 2 preseason games.

Budinger did great on the boards for a SG! 8 rebounds and the 2nd highest rebounder for the game.

Well if you look on the bright side:

At least we are not LA-Clippers or NY-Knicks or Timberwolves-Horrible..

although I would love the Rockets to obtain John Wall this season :)

He was playing mostly at SF?

    But good effort nonetheless!

I liked Brooks' efforts - an easy 21 points - good to see that he can light it up against the better defenders (Rondo)

People saw a Duke pedigree, and figured that translated into an NBA product.

Funny thing about Sheldon Williams is, like you said, he wasn't particularly good in college, despite the raves from guys like Dick Vitale or Bill Raftery.

I would love Landry to have a breakout, monstrous season...

but as of right now... scoring on scrubs in pre-season hasn't justified my wish yet...

Oh by the way, can anyone tell me how's Landry's defence? Did he improve in that aspect at all? I'm not worried about Landry's scoring but his defence....

I'm gonna be mad if Will Conroy doesn't make the team. Hes good. He would be a good to player to have cause Brooks and Lowry will be playing together a lot so if they get tired, it would be nice to have another PG.
As of now I see our roster looking like this

    C: Hayes/Andersen/Pops Mensah Bonsu
    PF: Scola/Landry/Cook
    SF: Battier/Ariza
    SG: McGrady/Budinger/Taylor
    PG: Brooks/Lowry/Conroy
    Injured: Yao Ming
