I like Rondo in terms of his "all-roundedness".. except that he doesn't possess the ability to shoot 3s at a steady rate.... which is a very crucial aspect of the Yao-inside-out game...

But he's still young and could develop a good stroke from downtown? IDK... IF the Celtics is willing to let Rondo walk and Rondo wants to come here...

I'd be all for this idea... (except if we somehow obtain John Wall )

They were looking to trade Rondo due to "hard headedness". I don't know what that means, but unless he grew up Im sure they would part ways with him.

He isn't worth a big contract. Deron, Roy, etc. are guys that will demand a big contract. What is he getting now?

Looks like Brooks and Landry will be fantasy beasts...along with Scola.

I doubt a lot of teams would want to spend that much esp. since the cap is projected to decrease due to the economy...

I hope people realize that replacement refs will suck. Even though NBA refs piss most of us off in general, they are probably the best refs we have in the basketball world.

 

Well, we shall see. The guy is actually probably the best defender at his position. He's no scrub. He's going to get more than MLE, you look at Ariza I think someone will be willing to pay more than that for him. Especially the numbers he puts up without his other star teammates indicates to me that he can be a key member for most teams...for example the Pacers. Any team that really needs a PG would be willing to give him money.

I don't see him coming here for that. We don't really need a PG anymore.
