    Okay I can cut Andersen some slack but Ariza has not looked good at all these first two games :(

    Don't forget the dude only makes MLE money. That's less than Battier. As Morey has said before, his defense alone is worth that. Whatever game he develops offensively is gravy.

    LOL, Ariza was never signed to "be the guy"...

    Some fans just have unrealistic expectations for him. He's Battier's future replacement...he's not a "offensive guy".

    outside of yao ming, we never did. rockets need an otis thorpe type to complement yao ming as a player in the front court.

    Looking at the stats on NBA.com and we are at 11 turnovers and 0 fastbreak points finishing the half. WTF!!!!! Thank god it's preseason...

    I was talking about his defense as well ! One of the scrub Celts just ran around him and I remember him being a pretty decent offensive player for the Lakers !

    Halftime

    Positives:
    - Chase looks decent tonight
    - Pops a little more active than I would expect
    - Andersen playing as advertised - good stroke out to 15'

    Negatives:
    - No flow on offense whatsoever
    - We're getting no offensive rebounds
    - Our defense seems to get distracted (like that throw in where the Celtics just passed it to the guy under the basket) leading to easy buckets
    - Rox are getting outhustled for loose balls
    - Ariza looks lost on the offensive side

    It's only preseason.

    I remember the year Mario Williams had a statline of 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 his 2nd season. Everyone was calling him a bust...he brokeout that season.

    I think he will look better come regular season.
