like half the team is hurt right now. the cavs are NOT a good team, they're barely holding on atm in the east hoping everyone gets well and a miracle happens

bonzi penetrating was the difference maker in this game. everyone talks about battier's intangibles but bonzi is the ultimate package of basketball intangibles: not too tall, not too fast but he has awesome court awareness and does everything including passing, penetrating, and scrapping for the ball. he's the type of guy who's greater than the sum of his parts.

obviously still has confidence and mental weaknesses but come playoff time we're gonna need him bad

Who scored most in the first quarter?
Who changed the trend when the leading margin was closed in the last quarter?

What's up with Scola missing layups and close range shots every game? This guy can easily average 16-18 pts. a game by making his shots.

yao took 9 shots in the first and made 4 -> 44%. i agree with the guy, yao should shoot much higher for a guy his skills and how no one can block his shot since he's taller and can see the basket without any distraction. if he shoots around 56-58%, we would be on ANOTHER level.

Will take the W any way we can get it. Glad we had players step up. 3 more games, then our squad gets well-needed rest!! Now, for atlanta. We can't go easy on them, they just beat LA!! If GS loses, we are tied with them for 8th, but they will get 8th spot because they lead seasons series 2-1.

Sure a couple of big baskets, I am just expressing a concern over his shooting touch.

To add the fact that Yao is not even looking forward to attacking the basket nowadays. Maybe I am asking too much?

I hope the wink means you are kidding. Hard to play after quitting

Anyways, great game. Yao was so clutch, Bonzi showed some hustle, Shane played well, Rafer hit some shots, and Tmac hit some big shots (and took some terrible ones but he gets a sick pass).

Loved Scola's energy and play...I kind of wish he would get some PT in the 4th more often, but it's tough to keep a hustle guy like Landry on the bench

    Awesome win on national TV.

    Love it

Don't criticize Yao Ming on his scoring. On a bad night, his shooting percentage would be higher than Jason Kidd's entire career. I think the largest concern with Yao is his hands. For the tallest player in the nba, you shouldn't fumble so many rebounds. Maybe put an extra 1/2 hour in the gym catching some bullet passes?

Huh? Yao was 9 for 19, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, +13. And played some really aggressive defense, a block or two. I call that "good."

I call em like I see em, and I am usually on the money.

Maybe it's the facial hair, maybe it's the slight double chin, maybe it's the flu, but Mcgrady looked OLD tonight. I'm not talking about his game, he's been really good recently and had the flu tonight. But his face looked like he was 35 years old tonight.

He's logging too many minutes and likely is still battling the flu a little bit. Hopefully the AS weekend will give him some rest.

It is Adelman's instruction: quickly shooting in high post and waiting to pass to team mates in low post (to avoid injury)

Yeah that must be why Aaron was the 2007 NCAA 3 pt champion, because he cant shoot

He's struggling to hit the 3 in game situations right now, but its just because of his inexperience, he is not quite comfortable in the flow of an NBA game yet. But make no mistake Aaron Brooks is the best 3 point shooter on the roster, eventually his % will bear that out.
