I'm concerned about our late game finishing. I wish Adelman would try Wafer out as a finisher because Brooks get stuffed way too much. Wafer has a high release on his jumper and hes a pretty good shooter. Im pretty sure he won't have any trouble guarding Wally lol.

Can't wait to see this game. The Rockets are the same team the Cavs got by last time they met. The Cavs will not be able to play off TMac or Rafer not hitting shots.

    Rockets 98 Cavs 84.

I'm worrying nothing but the refs, they killed us last time, we probably can't dream about balance calls tomorrow, but as long as the refs can be fair to us, it's enough.
LBJ is, in my opinion, the new toy of David Stern, or let's say he's new favorite player in the league. And it's not hard to see that he's always getting a lot of preferential calls. Some time ago, Cavs were playing Wizards at home, Wizards led about 10 points till the last minute, Mike James was on fire that night, that was before cavs lost their first home game to lakers, i thought yes, they will lose their "virginity" to a sorry team :D . But refs called maybe 2 consecutive offensive fouls on wizards, and another one on wizards player guarding LBJ's 3 pointer, cavs won with a bunch of free throws. What the hell? Let's not to get any of that tomorrow.

"If Kobe (LBJ in this case) is averaging 28 points a game....and you hold him to 19......have YOU DONE YOUR JOB???"

Now that Yao can see the Cavs in Houston, hopefully he'll make up for the tofuness in the Blazers game.

We need Carl Landry for this game. It's amazing that Carl Landry is more critical to winning than Tracy McGrady is.

There shouldn't be a reason why landry wouldn't play. I was actually surprised he didn't play last night.

I don't know if its been discussed or just plain common sense. But who will guard Lebron James?? Do we start of with Battier on him? and mix in some Artest??

    thanks for the info

to me, this is the annual gut check game. there was a game last season when the rockets appeared to be starting to figure things out but had to face a new orleans team that they had lost twice to previous to that. i felt like if they dropped that game, all of what they were building on would be null and they would have to start over. but that game, they did show up and come out with a lot of energy off the get-go and delivered on the home court.

for the past few games, we've been feeding on weaker teams to build our confidence (yes, i consider portland to be a weaker team, although the win against them was particularly good for our morale). if we can't carry this momentum forward, if we can't feed off the bad blood from the last time we played them and show some toughness and pride, then a loss to the cavs would be a major setback, in my mind. a win here would be at once a statement to the rest of the league and a validation for ourselves. MUST WIN, and i think we can pull it off.
