I don't think he got benched based on performance, but I could be wrong. McHale chose to go small, it worked, and he rolled with it. Though I guess it's sort of strange he brought T. Jones back & not Chandler.

manu in his prime averaged more minutes than Lin . Plus Beverley hasn't even proved that he can start in the NBA. 0 points? is that really acceptable. his shooting is atrocious

The numbers are clear. Lin plays his best when Parsons is on the bench.

Great game by Lin too. It seems harden being out and having him take over a few games brought his confidence back. Love it.

Lin's versatility to play both PG and SG makes him a good fit for this team. It gives flexibility for Mchale to play a 3 guard lineup with Bev, Lin and Harden. It doesn't really matter he starts or he comes off the bench.

Good for the rockets to get this win. I thought after two solid, wins against two tough opponents, this game was going to be a the customary let down game. The Rockets tried hard to lose, but won in the end. Good Job all around.

Lin with a triple double! I wonder will they cream themselves on NBATV the same way they did with Lance Stevensons when he got his first triple double of the season. I bet not.

He is a very good player. It is just his inconsistency that keeps him from being a NBA star. Once he solves that problem, Lin will be something to watch.

Was he in uniform? He's been on the bench for the last 4-5 home games, so if not, I don't think that's a sign of anything.

How about a big dose of LINSANITY! Wow, that was nice to see. Has J.Lin found his groove? Hope so. Don't know what happened to Parsons, hope he is not hurt. Jones continues to impress and Howard and Harden were solid. Bev couldn't hit the side of a barn, but played huge with steals and assists. At times the Cavs went forever without missing a shot. They played hard.

Lin (6-12) actually missed more shots than Beverley (0-5) did in this game.

yeah, he is playing more in control, reducing his TO, and not forcing it. His shot selection was better also. In fact, his TOs were one charging foul, one pass where TJones couldn't grab, and only one relatively careless. Much better!

He still got 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals so it's not like he was complete useles. Scoring has never been our problem..

Parsons has a big night ahead of him and McHale knew it and thus was resting himself for it.
