Can we count on Mutumbo to break Lebron's nose this time?

looking for 111 to truly dominate tonight. watch them collectively go for 80 points, 30 rebounds, 20 assists, 10 blocks, and 5 steals! Yao makes 19/20 freethrows. ;)

According to Rockets.com, Hughes has a bad ankle and has missed the past four games. The projected Cavs lineup shows Shannon Brown starting in his place, though we'll have to see if that actually happens.

Only in the dream I can see when LBJ tried to dunk on Yao, and Yao furiously blocked the entire ball to James's right eye. Lebron left the game immediately due to the eye-blurness and came back with a hand holding the right eye but could not stop the teardrops from the left...

My prediction for the game with my own ode to Daryl Morrey statistical analysis:

    Rockets Starters
    Yao - 10
    Hayes – 4
    Battier - 5
    McGrady - 8
    Alston - 4
    6th man
    Head - 4
    Bench
    V-Span - 2
    Mutombo – 1
    Howard - 2

    Cavs Starters
    Big Z – 5
    Gooden - 6
    LeBron - 10
    S. Brown - 2
    Snow - 3
    6th man
    Damon Jones - 3
    Bench
    Marshall - 4
    Varejao - 3
    Wesley - 2

    Formula: (Starters x 2) + (6th man x 1.5) + (Bench x 1) + 3 for home court advantage + number of wins in last 10 games (momentum factor)

    Rockets total: 87.0
    Cavs total: 51.5

    Therefore, Rockets win. :)
Matador prediction record to date: 7-3

    I'll be at the game!

I am going to the game tonight. My firm rented a suite at the Toyota Center to eat, drink and be merry. I get to watch us spank LeBron James live. I love it!!!

Don't let Novak and Yao play together early in the game. Due to the no defense of Novak, Yao will get early foul trouble and since Yao is the most reliable player of the Rox team, Rox will be in trouble if Yao cannot play.

Big Z definitely >5 and Gooden likely >6. I would say Big Z-8, Gooden -7. For the Rox team, T-mac could be 8 or 9, but can be 1 or 2 like last game. The whole night, his total efficiency was beween -3 and +3, which means he could do more harm than good to the team. Without T-mac, the two teams are equal. With T-Mac, it's diificult to say. Hope he will do much better than last game.

I hope Deke blocks Lebron a couple of times like he did last season, thereby taking his aggressiveness away.

Should be a fun game, I think...as long as the Rockets make their wide open jumpers.
