are you serious? It was a minor concussion. The cost was finding out that we're a good team without one of our stars. I'd hate to pay that price. Oh wait...

Defense looked really good, even when the subs were in.

Luther stepped up nicely when Tmac went down.

Tmac had he stayed in the game, probably would have had his best game all season. He was looking great out there.

Jho... obviously wants his starting spot back. He was a hustle machine out there tonight. Took some ill advised shots, but overall his best game in my mind.

Yao looked really good in spurts and really bad in spurts, but a good game for him overall. If we can just get rid of some of his turnovers.

Rafer had moments of out of control, but not many. He looked comfortable, especially in the second half (again... I think part of his problems is adjusting to whether he is a point or a two guard when Tmac is in the game)

We did have 14 turnovers, but I guess since 6 of them were Yao's that's not too bad.

This was the kind of game I like (there were a lot of people saying it was ugly and boring) but this type of game is my kind of basketball, grinding it out, playing tough defense, good passing on offense.

Not a fantastic win but one none the less. I'll take it.

    And tmac get better fast!

I dig the post game thread idea. Much easier than having one massive thread

This is a good idea. A post game thread is ideal instead of merging it.

    Here's my analysis:

    Rockets won.

I think this was a very important game even though this is not an elite team because

    1. it gave the players confidence since we didnt collapse after tmac left

    2. we adjusted very well after the Cav's mini 15-4 run after Tmac went down

    3. JVG showed all the haters that he does have "some" creativity when he played small ball

    3. We went with the game plan Over and Over again because it was working...thats something I didnt see in alot of other games

I wonder what did Juwan write on that piece of paper????

    For a score 0-5:

Yao 4 Too many TOs, below his average shooting.
    Alston 4 Clutch play
    Head 4 Good 3s
    Battier 4
JoH 3 Good rebound offsets the poor shooting
    Hayes 4
    Vspan 3
Deke 4 Shut down LJ. :D

You're probaly right, this post sounds like you might have absorbed alot of head trama.

I'm glad no one in the Rocket's organization listened to all the "trade Head and whoever for some marginal player" ideas. Head was a big part of things tonight and continues to give big minutes. I'd hate to mention names, but you know who you are.

A concussion isn't as trivial as you are making it sound...You think it's fun getting knocked out? I would tell Tmac to take as long as he needs to recover.

    Dear Les,

If you expect me to get 10+ rebounds every night, get a paycheck for another $100 million ready.

I always keep my word. Just ask Pat Riley.

    POWER Forward,
    Juwan.

I was also impressed by Battier. This guy has been a blessing for us guarding the best player on the other team night in and night out. He has also been an iron man playing a lot of minutes. I wonder if he'll be worn-out by the end of season.

Missed my 30 pt triple double from T-Mac I was waiting for.
It was his time to shine, and he came ready.

He has just had the worst fate in recent years, it's really sad.

Hopefully he will come back firing, and make up for it in Cleveland next time. Dropping 50 for the road crowd, nothing better to get ESPN off LeBron's nuts.

Good thing we rocked them though, and shut down LeBron to 7/22 (less than 33%).

I have a strong feeling that this accident will knock T-Mac back to that super T-Mac again, same as the electric shock that changed Hayes.

He wasn't knocked out, he was laying on the ground with a major headache, I am sure, but he was not unconcious.

If he misses any games, I would be surprised.

Or we just trade JVG to the Cavs for James.

    No T-Mac?

    No Problem.

    ROX WIN!

Props to Shane for locking Lebron down & rest of the ROX Shooters for knocking down the 3 balls.
