    Battier has been great.
Everybody stepped up and did a good job. That's what Rockets need to win games.

Let's just have one post game thread after every game, makes it easier, has the same effect as this does.

    Zboy,

To answer your question from the game thread, you call him "consistent" :D

And Clutch, I really like the idea of a post-game thread, I think you tried something similar in the past if I am not mistaken.

good defense by the rockets. tmacs concussion messed with LBJs mind i think. yao took big Z out, and the cavs had nothing left.

I am going to be that McGrady is going to miss 3-5 games from this "mild" concussion. Geez, the guy fainted from a level 1 concussion. If he does miss games, we really have to check the color of his panties.

Great intensity from the guys tonight. TMAC started out hot and I was excited to see him have a huge game. Well thanks to Deke, that didn't happen, but it's good to know he will be alright for the next game.

Yao had an outstanding first half and struggled with the double teams. Our outside shooting and our defense carried us to the win in the 4th quarter. Good win.

well i for one am really impressed with luther's game (except when it comes to finishing). i thought he handled the point pretty well, and hit 3's like it was no one's business. i especially liked his behind the back dribble pull up 3. that was pretty damn sweet.

cavs looked REALLY out of sync though, they did not come to play tonight.

good win, takes some of the disappointment from the suns game away. i liked the fact that we won despite tmac's absence

    Pruyen,

    Nah I wasnt fooled.

If you thought she was that tall from the first picture then that means 3/4 of her height would be all legs making her the human version of a giraffe.

    Battier = Lebron stopper?!

That's exactly what happened tonight. Boy I was impressed with Battier. Lebron rarely drives he settled for threes and other jumpshots. Battier play excellent defense and boy who saw him backing King James down in the post and getting in the little hook shot? Battier looked great out there.

Yao didn't that much after the defense swarm him. Numerous of 3 second calls and miss shots. Of course the defense swarm him and it allowed others to have wide open looks.

Blow out. :) I'm happy great defense with good offense = good game.

I didn't like the TMAC concusion though... hopefully he'll be alright.

    a few of tmac's brain cells...oh well...

gotta give credit to battier for shutting down lebron...and for once...you have to give applaud to juwan for his hustle...the turning point was those two 3's from rafer and head...STFU to those alston haters! :D

We pretty much saw the Rockets blueprint at work tonight. Defense + Yao + Threes.

We've got a top 5 defense, and Yao (usually) is a very efficient scorer. So when the threes fall, then we can build a big lead or pull away.

Can we win a title like this? Maybe. Depends on how good our defense can be. Every once it a while it looks like we're sporting an all-time great defense. Other times, not so much.

I agree. Major props to JVG. I love how this team is built on effort, defensive intensity, and attention to detail. All staples of Jeff Van Gundy.

If T-Mac can't go will this finally get JVG to play Bonzi. When will Sura make his decision to play or retire??
