Have to add that the entire Cavs team played like our second unit.

How is T-Mac, that what I am concerned the most right now. Hope the injury is just minor.

Don't agree on the TMac part. He was playing one of best all-round games I've seen from him before he was knocked out by Deke. It's not a wild imagination to predict he would register a triple-double if he stayed to play the whole game.

He will be fine. Hopefully the knock actually "knocks" his shots back :) :) :)

That's true, and I think he was more motivated before this game.

Agree. He and Yao were really killing the Cavs. Too bad it was not on James. Guess if that happened, James would not play against Rockets until Deke retires.

Yao under 10 rpg again...he just has not been attacking those boards...only 5???? Come on Yao.....go get ya some.....If Juwan can get 13......

    :D

Tmac has a Grade 1 concussion, sounds like it is not that big of a deal, but he is Captain drama.

Haven't you seen the slam dunk made by Yao which fire the other rocket players' enthusiasm when none of the them can make any points?

I hope Tmac is okay. Maybe a mild concussion but hopefully that's all it is. 11-5 and GS are up next. Let's see this much improved Andris Biedrins.

    Warriors, come out to play-i-ay.

Cavs @ Rockets - PostGame Analysis (Game Thread cont.)

I'll give this a try once to see how it goes. This is a new thread that will later be merged with the actual game thread.

This is to discuss and analyze the game without having to catch up to the first 600 posts...

    Some pre-game photos:-

The ever hardworking Yao Ming as usual was the first one to appear on court in preparation for the match with Tom Thibodeau.....

    First on FIRST!

Cavs sucked BIG Ones!! Besides LBJ, this team is just pathetic. Even James was terrible tonight. Good for us though.

I wish we were in the East. Would have been to the Finals atleast 10 times in next 10 seasons.

First off, am I crazy or did Rafer Alston go 3-6 from three-point range?

I thought he missed his first 3 in the first half, then went 3-3 in the second half... but the box shows him as 2-5 from long range and only 3 field goals overall (but I know he hit that "teardrop" earlier).

I thought the defense was outstanding, and JVG rested his starters, particularly Alston, which allowed him to have his legs more rested at the end of the game and he was not short on his 3s.

Also, I felt that Yao is playing decently, but he was gettting HAMMERED on the block.

The Jazz are down one with 5 seconds to go...and DANG IT...Memo Okur hit a 3pter with 1 second left to pull it out...wow.

    Sorry, back to the Rockets....

I really liked the way the team fought out there, the entire game, and when our dry spell came, we were able to hold on....big buckets by Battier when we needed them.
