Some BS turnovers being called on Francis, but they're still turnovers. He's getting burned by another PG tonight though, and looks frustrated. Yao may have 12 points but he's playing passive despite having good position low in the paint and receiving single coverage. Rockets aren't dropping their 3s but will hopefully start to settle for the midrange jumper. I wish we could learn how to run the fastbreak. I mean just dedicate an entire offseason learning how to run a clean fastbreak. Even if we're too hardheaded to get it right quickly enough, do it so much that it gets embedded in everyone's thick skulls that it becomes natural.

    Duke guards suck.

And Duhon cannot hit anything from outside. Hinrich was a career 43% 3 pointer shooter from college, and was coached by Roy Williams.

Duke is good for fast break, speed, not good for half court offense.

once we had a lead, guys start jacking up jumpers at will and miss them all. There was a like 3-minutes drought. And SF missed the last jumper in the quarter, of course.

Bobby Hurley, Trajan Landon, William Avery, Jason Who(?)...... The list goes on and on, one after one high first round pick, and one bust after one bust (for whatever reason).

    Only Magette is decent.

And don't even mention those great big men out of Duke. Brand probably is the only one that's worth the high pick.

Lol, I think Steve must have it written in his contract that he MUST take the last shot of every quarter because his ISO abilities are pathetic and he never converts.

Er...Boozer? Wasn't a high pick, but was clearly worth one...Hill? Until injuries, he was as great all around as there was...I hate Duke, but come on...And Jason Williams was going to be a player n time, a real player. Don;t know if Hurley ever was, but each suffered accidents which had nothing to do with their alma maters...

Steve plays a type of game that directly conflicts with Yao's game, and I think everyone can see that. Guys like Kenny Smith who can shoot the rock with dead-eye accuracy can play the point with Yao in the low post. I don't think it is a coincidence anymore that Steve and Yao almost never have good games at the same time.

I don't get it. Why can Chicago keep passing Curry the ball while the Rox can't pass post the ball?

    a) what did steve get the T for? calvin seemed to know it was coming but on camera steve was just standing there.

    b) where was the foul on crawford? it didn't look close on the replay.

    c) we need someone to hit a shot so jim jackson gets 3 straight jumpers?

yes, yao just got a dunk and we lead.

Don't care what anybody says in trying to defend Francis for those 8 points from Crawford. He missed his defensive assignment on him behind the arc, and from the baseline midrange jumper. Then the technical. That's all blame on Francis there. Then the blame is on Yao for being slow on transition defense letting Curry run freely down the middle of the paint on the fastbreak. Lastly I don't understand why we're running our offense through Jim Jackson. He's an excellent roleplayer but shouldn't be the guy taking 3 shots in a row during a crucial part of the game. It falls right into Chicago's defense letting him jack them up.

I never imagined this game would go down to the wire the way the game was going in the 3rd quarter.
