Like hell. The last thing these Rockets have a hard time doing is coming up with excuses. They're a team built on excuses! CHI 88 HOU 76 -VL

Now comes a test Friday night against Rockets center Yao Ming, although Skiles called Ostertag one of the league's better defensive centers. "I'll go at Yao extremely hard," Curry said. "He's a tough defender because of his length and size. But I'm looking forward to it."
I'll take a sabbatical from the Pessimism Society and predict that the Rockets will win rather easily, knowing that they're going to fall flat on their faces when they get to the Western Conference heavy schedule in March...
For anybody interested, we're expecting a full house tonight -- there's about 800 tickets still left this morning, and they're moving at a good clip. Hope more than a few of you can make it over here for the game. The Lakers next week are sold out, although there's still plenty of tickets left for the Spurs -- tickets for Monday night games always move more slowly, even with a great opponent. Be Big. Come on out. Tim
It's back-to-back. The latter is at Atlanta. Well, if we were doomed to lost one, I prefer we lost to Bulls rather than kicked by Spurs.
Rox win big in this one...105-82. Stevie has another good game because, as someone said earlier, he plays better angry.
I live in Chicago and tend to watch the Bulls alot (mostly so I can see other teams -- Not the Bulls). They are playing alot better lately, if Hinrich and Curry are both scoring they can certainly compete with the Rockets. However this game goes, watch Hinrich, his gritty play and his good passing, make him one of the few watchable Bulls, if his 3 point shot is hitting, he's dangerous. No doubt he'll make all us Rocket fans desiring a true PG drool, he is a good deal better than TJ Ford, he'd have similar assist numbers if the rest of his team could shoot. Also, Curry will make people that call Yao soft realize this isn't a Chinese only phenomenon I still think the Rockets must win this, Bulls aren't good at all on the road, and if it's a near sell out, the Rockets might play with some energy. (Though that wasn't evident in the two games before the Superbowl.) Steve will probably try and have another huge game to show that he can play "his" way. If he's not hitting his shots, this could get ugly fast.
Curry is playing well and promised to the media he was going to go at Yao hard. Yao usually scores well against him so we'll see the Rockets can feed him. Can't see them fronting in this game. I say SF continues his good play and he, cat, JJ, and mo win the game. Yao will be a non-factor again.
"I'm going to go at him extremely hard and play my game against him,'' Curry said. "I know he's going to bring his game against me, and I'm looking forward to it. Hope Yao abuses him.
Just heard on 610 News Flash that JVG had cut short on today's practice because the team was "not focused". I hope this doesn't translate to another lost.
