When you put Josh Smith around similarly competent ballers, he is a completely different guy. He can bully his way up the court and push it like "I freaking dare you NBA scrubs to come stop me push this ball." I love it. Josh Smith, I'm a fan of the fall-in-our-lap-acquisition right here.
I'm not living in the past... Gsw with all the hype on curry is sickening. Harden does it all with far less talent. He's the true MVP. Some national coverage to point that point may not make a difference but it's still nice to see it
exactly. Games like tonight show how Josh Smith is so valuable. He essentially shut down both GAsol and Gibson in the paint.
Thank you Houston and thank you Rockets for an awesome 1st time Rockets and Toyota center experience from start to finish. Can't wait til the Portland game now.
Looks like the bench players just work better than the starters as a team when they're in there. Tonight, they turned a 7-point deficit into a 7-point lead. Then they come in late in the third and extend the lead to 18 points before the starters give some of it back. My thinking might be changing to: "Man, if the starters can keep it close, the bench will give us the lead." And if the starters can build a lead, the bench will extend it. The starters seem to be a more independent group, but the bench guys play better as a team. They really look good.
Grizzlies have won 8 in a row, the Hawks just won 19 in a row, and then GS just had a tremendous start of the season.
