the chron just put up some stats.

in 90-91 we won 13 straight but LOST in the first round to the lakers. so let's put things in perspective. what happens in the reg. season does not always translate over to the playoffs (dallas last yr, our great ending in 04-05...). we have to keep staying hungry and focused.

and hilltopper, where are you with the post game interviews? ;)

yes, but it looks like we are finally playing to win, instead of playing not to lose. I'm not saying I'm convinced we can beat the top teams in the west but I know we can compete and have the pieces to match anyone. Agreed it is scary that our win streak hasn't even solidified a playoff spot, but I like our chances and I like our attitude. Tmac's aggression will be the key.

The free throw shooting was horrible. That is actually a very legit issue.

Why didn't TMac have at least 9 assists?

yao sucked today because of last game when he injured his hip.. i think he strained it or somethin... remember when he left the game? if that was tmac he would have been out 5-6 games talking about.. "i just don't feel right"

That Dunk on YAO was embarracing, but he really needed it, he has been playing very soft lately.

Should have been up at least 30 by the end.

Free throws were laughable at best.

What can you say other than Daryl Morey is a genius. Bobby Jackson is the perfect fit in every sense of the word. He made the Rockets 2nd unit run with efficiency and proficiency. This team is clicking on all cylinders and is flat scary.

Deepest Rockets team in 10 years. We are shooting in with confidence and Scola/Landry combination will make you pay. Both on the glass and around the basket. It's fun to be a Rockets fan again.

    1. Make the fricking free throws
    2. Defense in 1st half was bad. Improve it!
    3. Nobody on that team can stop Yao, don't let inferior C's push you around.
    4. Rafer needs to have more assists
    5. Novak needs to shoot more in garbage time to prepare for playoffs
