I feel ya bro, but even tho he was the only player to back up tmac, that doesn't matter, because I think BJ can provide more and doesn't Head back up tmac? . . and if BJ and Head can score about 15 pts a game like today with swisshin those shots from downtown . . we will be a killer, like we have been with our 12 game winning streak and counting . . I liked bonzi and all, but I seriously think BJ will bring energy and high game to every game and not a few like bonzi did with his up and down nights.
For those who criticize Yao's performances of late, yes, you gotta wonder if he's hit a wall. And with the exception of one or two games, he's played like garbage since TMac came back. Or maybe a combo of TMac's return and Landry's emergence, who knows. SOMEthing. Yao and TMac don't always mesh, but I hope Yao gets it back quick.
as long as the back is ok, we're fine. the knees and the elbow were freak injuries. u cannot prevent that at all. even an iron man like marvin harrison of the NFL had that knee bruise. those are not chronic injuries.
Only negative: am I just being a homer, or did tonight's officiating crew miss a really good game? Some of those calls for phantom infractions and personal fouls were just unbelieveable.
I wonder if it will be a top 10 play on ESPN or NBATV since technically it wasn't during official play.
They were hot, and the Bulls kept giving up the 3, so the Rockets took the 3. I've seen enough of this team to know that they can get points in the paint. In fact, in the 1st half, T-Mac was breaking down the D and dishing off the Scola, Yao, or Landry for easy buckets in the paint.
Wall? He averaged 21 points 11 rebounds on 53% shooting in February before tonight. Pretty much the same as his season average. And here's the game log, he's had more than one or two non-gargage games. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3599/gamelog;_ylt=Atk5z2ycdASF1.l0T3yxncekvLYF
I'm not talking about the streak, I'm talking about the best record in 2008, and it belongs to Houston
Yes, you are right. But, if he can play on the floor like KB24, AI overcome injuries, that is attitude we want to see.
I was amazed by jackson's ball control and how smoothly he ran the offense. I just remember him as a shooter. It's great to have a reliever with that much talent. He is a young 34 Luisito not so happy with the officiating: " when they run into me, I take a charge. That is a play, not a flop. They keep thinking I'm flopping. There is nothing i can do about it." http://media.switchpod.com//users/vladthegreat/luisito.mp3
1st quarter. 1:37 left. He was fouled attempting to drive. Foul was called before the drive, but he drove anyway and dunked. It wasn't a super dunk, but it was pretty sweet. There's a picture of that dunk on the homepage of NBA.com
At the very beginning of the game, Rafer failed to control the tempo of the game. He should slow the pace down.
