agreed. Not enough PT yet to make an informed evaluation, but I loved what I saw from him. You can always use shooters. (ie Barry) If Tmac stays aggressive we have the pieces to match up with anyone. Its gonna be a hell of a crazy ride down the stretch.
A nice win tonight. We played sloppy early but pulled it out in the second half. It was nice to see 7 players in double figures and even though Yao was not much of a factor, we still won by double digits. On another note, MAN the West is tough. We really didn't make up any ground again!
Wow. Especially considering the Jazz and Rockets were both recently "out of the playoff picture" and the Lakers were considered likely to drop out of the playoff picture. Now all three teams look like powerhouses. And I would say the Rockets are the hottest, because they have put together their win streak (which is the most impressive) with pretty much the same personnel.
according to wikipedia the nba record for longest winning streak is 33 games set by the lakers of the 70s.....
Sure, the Rockets have won the most games straight. But a lot of our wins have been close and hard fought victories. Ever since Pau joined the Lakers, they're destroying teams by the end of the first half, and averaging about 117 points per game.
Notice how far the hornets fell when we beat them, and how far the suns fell... from one to five. I can't remember it ever being this tight.
Yeah, the Lakers are scary. More reason to hate Memphis. They screwed up the whole balance of the universe.
Holy cr**! 33 is long! We probably cannot rewrite it. Anyway, lets just enjoy the winning streak as long as it lasts!
Does anyone know what happened to Gerald Green? I didn't expect him to be on the active roster, but from this picture... It looks like he was expected to play.
