Noah is a rookie, but he is also a young, high-energy guy, the type of player that usually gives Yao trouble.
Rockets defense really slipped tonight, so that hurt. Rafer having a bad night -- it was interesting to watch the Rockets revert back to T-Mac running the offense late in the second quarter (and that's when they made a mini-run). I don't know if that's good or bad... could be a preview of what the Rockets do in the playoffs.
Hopefully the Bulls can't keep up that energy. They look rejuvenated with this new squad. They have a ton of athletic and/or capable players. Hinrich Gordon Deng Hughes Sefolosha Thomas Noah Nocioni Duhon Gooden No superstars necessarily just a bunch of solid players.
absolutely. wtf takes a off balance one leg shot being guarded when tmac is on your team?? bjax was really good i thought.
Usually, Yao shows up first half and Tmac shows up second half. Yao was no show first half and Tmac stepped up. Hope Yao plays more assertive second half and Tmac continues his streak. Bobby is showing that he can fit right in with Adelman's system. This is a good impression because the Rockets won't have much step backs from losing Bonzi.
So apparently Tmac also has a sprained thumb and ankle. What he said afterwards was pretty funny: "Sprained ankle?"
why did rafer take the last shot? we know he cant hit a three with a man in his face. i feel mac or yao should demand the ball unless they're doubled.
jesus christ... one bad half by rafer and everyone forgets how he helped us in the current 11 game streak
I think they just came out a little too loose. Clutch, I don't know that they reverted to the T-Mac offense, he just started looking for his shot. The Bulls are long and athletic and they're giving the Rockets some trouble. It's not so much that the Rockets are having a bad game as the Bulls are having a pretty good one. They shouldn't underestimate that Bulls team, they're too athletic.
