So what can we do now? Stop watching Rox games? Or say "fxxk you" to all the players?
Do we have a better choice? I don't see it. So I can only find something to cheer myself up. Otherwise it would be the worst thanksgiving in my life.

 

Well actually percentage wise we have the third worst record in the lead. 3-11 is better than 2-9 by percentage points .214 vs. .181. Anyhow, we are doing mostly pretty bad without Mcgrady. I didn't envision that even with the tough schedule that we'd be 3-11. More likely closer to .500. Our offensive execution down the stretch is beyond horrible and we don't have an offensive game plan or haven't set up one. Our defense isn't better either. In the game against Phoenix, I saw on several occasions where the suns took their time to run their offensive game set, made 4 crisp passes which confused the defense of the Rockets, and their three point shooters had time to write a letter before attempting a shot.

 

I'm hardly a half glass full guy, but Luther Head is shooting 50% from 3 point land. He has far exceeded my expectations.

 

From a win percentage viewpoint, we're better than Atlanta too

 

Head and Bowen made two stupid passes which no one can catch them in the 4th quater, but I will excuse Head because he is still younger

 

Atlanta game officialy is a game between the leagues bottom two teams of each conference.

 

I agree with your assessment.

I believe the Rockets will make the play-offs as one of the lower seeds. Despite the roster "improvements," the recent play has exposed the Rockets to be a two-dimensional team namely Yao and T-Mac.

I hope T-Mac stays injury free for the rest of the season and the Rockets start winning.

 

We're supposed to be such a good defensive team yet a team with ONE real scorer (by real scorer, capable of averaging 20 PPG for any team) yet we give up 94 points to this team with the likes of OTHELLA HARRINGTON being the focal point of the offense in certain situations???

Wishing Gundy would have kept Padgett instead of Bowen. Maybe the money wasn't there for Scotty. Heard he has done some good work for the Nets. Bowen may have some energy but he is a 12th/13th man and cannot hit the clutch 2 or 3 like Padgett.

 

Does anyone else think that McGrady will be patched up to play in the next game? I honestly think that some jobs are going to be lost if the Rockets lose to the Hawks, and the organization will try everything it can to not have a worse record than the Hawks and will pull out all the stops to win that single game to save whatever little dignity the organization still has.

I think McGrady will play regardless of his readiness...

The painful irony is that this was one of the biggest weaknesses to improve upon in the off-season, and apparently we have done little or nothing to remedy this problem that cost us dearly in the playoffs last season.

 

Wait till it gets around 17 losses and then watch for firings.
