Popovich was yelling at his players when they played crappy during the first half.

It sure appears he detached them.

Please, give Yao a break. Just look at the long red scratch on his left arm. But Yao looks flat and tired and a little hurt.

Look at my post again. I added.

Popovich has rings so he can get away with it.

I am sorry but JVG is not going to get as much respect as Popovich.

He needs to earn it before he goes off on a tirade like that.

You can try counting first. I gave you two things and you counted it as one. Sheesh...

And by all accounts, please do tell what else he gives.

It's a fitness thing.those fadeout will dissapear once tracy gets his tank going. he is still carrying a few excess pounds. once our key players get fitter, it will get better. not having anyone hitting a shot didnt help tracy's cause either. the bulls were swarming him. they knew he was our only real offensive option. no coincidence one he went quiet, we went quiet.

Is this serious or just being sarcastic? I would say 95% is serious. If so, that would be a classic comment. I love fellow BBS-ers at Clutchfans :D

So, no coach without a ring can yell at players for making stupid mistakes.

    Check out Don Nelson sometimes.

And Kirk Snyder is not a ****ing 12 year old girl like some people here. I saw him in college, he's been yelled at plenty of times, he's not that fragile.

If JVG could calm himself down, he should have had much more hair.

I didn't watch it live, but Yao's stat today is not bad. He doesn't have to score 30+ every night to be good.

    Sure they can.

But they risk losing their players.

Sure Snyder made a mistake, but considering that he is one of the few tough players we have, you bench him and then yell at him in the locker room.

Doing it in public serves no purpose. It was JVg taking out his frustration towards the whole team based on one play by one person.

    Bad management.

    As an example,

Players who played under Rudy T. always said they were very grateful that he would never embarass players in public. And they played hard for him.

Anyone who has a problem with Battier and what he brings to the table, has no clue how important chemistry is to the game of basketball.

Battier makes all the little plays, and he is the ONLY starter you can count on to play hard EVERY single night.

I knew when Hayes went out we were in trouble, Battier and Hayes are the guys who stop the penetration BEFORE it gets to Yao...they step in and take the charges, and cut to the open spots on the floor on offense.

Battier is an AMAZING player, who has smarts, and plays hard 100% of the time.

Battier is also a player who does not need the ball to impact a game, much like Hayes, and those guys are the glue that hold the winning teams together.

    Battier ROCKS !!!!

I was talking about everything you mentioned about him. The most valuable thing about Shane doesn't show up on the stat line.

yes he's very overrated. he's not even hitting those wide open 3 pointers he's getting. when you're that open all the time you should be at 45% for 3's.

And Rudy T spent years enabling Steve Francis in the lottery and got his ass fired.

    last I checked

    # rings for Rudy = 2

    # of rings for JVG = The lone egg rotting in your fridge.

Rudy in lottery = Yao Ming.
    JVG in lotter = Battier.

The story of their careers... LOL

You can spin it every way you want but that was a CRUCIAL mistake by Snyder. I guess Snyder is exempt from being yelled at by JVG because he has earned the respect from coaches.

    I am not spinning anything.

I already admitted Snyder was at fault.

You are the one spinning :p
