T-Mac, please don't shoot too many. When you are shooting, you forget how to distribute the ball and we will not win the game.

people have been saying this about Tiki Barber, but none of us know what it's like to be a pro athlete. I'd be sad if he retired, but I couldn't get mad at the guy.

i don't think rockets fans got the memo that the game started at SEVEN. seriously, i'm watching this on TNT, and it's embarrassing to see all these empty red seats. for a moment i thought this was a preseason game.

wow t-mac wants to play baseball? sign him up! maybe the astros finally have a decent #5 starter.

there should be a team rule that prohibits passing Dikembe the ball.

Rafer Alston is not throwing up bricks.

He is throwing up whole sections of buildings.

    Yeah, they are that ugly.

Very bad first quarter. I don't see the same intensity we had in the firsdt half of the SA game.

    yao
    hayes
    snyder-novak
    head
    billy

these guys all have 10 years left. TMAC is the only guy closing our window for a championship.

i am. it's amazing how crappy they are at shooting anything other than completely wide open shots. any body up on them or, God forbid, a shot they have to create themselves is an adventure.

and the bulls seemingly travel every single time they catch a pass and then drive or whatever. pj brown took about 4 steps when he caught the ball at the end of the quarter before he took the shots and gordon has traveled numerous times on pump fakes followed by drives.

it's kinda funny t-mac mentioned that he works out with clemens. clemens skipped the first two months for the astros last season, and he didn't make his first start until june 22nd. of course, the nba season is already over in late june.....

    got my drift?

I would rather see Novak in replacing Padgett, but whatever.

That was a lackluster 1st quarter

    I have always said it.

    Here's a question...

If Battier is so highly regarded as a defender, howcome the first couple of plays Rockets had to double team the man BATTIER was guarding, which led to open 3s for the Bulls?

The best defender on the team should never need a double team help and should be able to make the defender work hard.

Battier's one on one defense is extremely overrated.

He is a decent help team defender.
