Now thats just a slap in the face. If it was the other way around it would've quickly been dropped.

I cant start new threads. Someone needs to start this thread to point out the lunacy of JVG.

JVG wants to open NBA lottery to all teams.

Whether its the Dallas Mavericks or the Charlotte Bobcats, JVG believes every team should have an equal opportunity at the lottery.

"Van Gundy wants to open up the NBA draft lottery to all 30 NBA teams in an effort to keep teams from losing intentionally to hopefully secure the No. 1 pick."

"If it's better for the game, they should do it. I never quite understood why losing is rewarded, other than [for] parity."-JVG

OF COURSE ITS FOR PARITY. Could you imagine the Mavs getting Oden this year, or the Suns getting Durant. My god the Mavs would turn into a dynasty.

yeah, how dare JVG voice his opinion and actually think outside the box.

He should just fall in line and think like everyone else...

but seriously, he has a point to a certain extent. Should teams be rewarded for tanking?

No they shouldn't we rewarded, but its simple economics. You're trying to form an equilibrium via competitive balance. You can't give the Mavs Oden, you can't even risk something like that, because if it spins out a 7 year dynasty you, the league, just shot yourself in the foot.

The idea that teams shouldnt be rewarded for tanking is a good idea in theory, but this is not how you attack the problem.

You hate his face because you're jealous he's good-looking guy. And as long as we win, I don't care if he sings and dances all the time when he's on the court :D :D :D :D

    First of all:
This was the first time I've used one of these links to watch a Rockets game from home and it was FRIGGIN AWESOME!! I live in Austin and don't have the NBA package. It was huge to be able to follow the game from home. Hopefully we can get these links for the upcoming games.

Next, "T-Mac is selfish and shows too much emotion and yells too much?" Everyone is allowed their own opinion, but some of you guys... Glad to see you guys are still ripping on each other - some things just don't change ;)

I do agree that our defense is in need of a tuneup - sometimes it downright sucks. Hopefully that'll come together before the playoffs.

Now, hasn't it been way too long since someone has ripped JVG and/or Skip - they're felling unloved since you're concentrating on T-Mac right now!

    where did you see this?

espn currently has both LA games listed on their tv schedule...

but nba tv might pick up the clippers/rockets as well/in replacement

its so frustrating with espn, they dont even know their own schedule
