I thought I was the only one seeing this great D.

The puzzle is gradually coming together.

Nice game. It really showed how wesley has improved our perimeter defense. I also liked barry's oustide touch, something that lue didnt have.

    You definitely weren't.

Wesley does a good job of fighting through screens and picks, and even when he gets beat, hell reach a hand out to at least try and bother the shooter.

His 7 assists were nice too.

We are off to a good start with Wesley. Hopefully we can keep it up.

My thinking exactly. I really was impressed with Wesley's quickness on defense. His shooting is a little off but he really hustles on the floor.
Jon Barry's 3pt shot is a nice to have as well.

Great win. T-Mac steps it up so did our PFs. Mutombo was solid.

Wesley can still be so much better once he get used to playing with the guys.

Hopefully we don't make any more moves unless we can get a good PF. We need to ride this team til the end and see what happens. Once Yao gets back, we should be rolling.

    Yao+Mo for Odom+Mihm+Butler+1st rounder?

How many more people are coming over to the dark side after this game?

It seems that the guard rotation with Sura, Wesley, and Berry are fine at least for this year.

Both Mo and Howard should be praised for their recent found outside shooting touch. If they can do this consistently, it just makes us a much tougher team for any opponents, and leave more room for Yao/Tmac to work one on one.

I have to eat some crow on this one. I was a huge opponent of the trade and thought it didn't really make us any better, but after actually watching them I can see where it does. Wesley solidifies the peremeter D and that was a huge weakness. He also is a very good passer that knows his role. I would still like to see us get a 4 because it is our greatest weakness (even though there was a MoT sighting tonight), but I don't think that will happen until the offseason. Great win!!!!!!!!!!!! Now let's get on the Yankee side of .500 and maybe the Yao Sucks and Fire JVG threads will stop.........errrr slow down.:D
