I've been through that several times.
Silas will be OK.

But answer me this; I'm asking again:
What if Silas asks to take the season off?
Will he have exaggerated?
Will you lose respect for him?
What is the acceptable level of mourning and empathy?

 

silas only fans are the ones not showing empathy and really disrespecting silas and his fathers demise, by trying to make calls for HC firing into a personal debate and personal hate...and using it as opportunity to win some arguments vs people that regularly beat the **** out of them in normal basketball debates

 

it would be a class act par excellence!

 

I find myself agreeing with fchowd. Someone please check to see if the earth is still spinning on its axis and if so is it still going in the right direction

ah great, thank you...this is what silas and silas only fans, and tanking only fans, and dumbalytics only fans did for me...they made me not willing to watch rockets basketball at all...THEY ARE INDEED A HUGE TURNOFF...

if its not about players glory why not bench jalen green or KPJ and not sengun then?

Who's holding Sengun back? Trying to use your best defenders at the end of games to win is not holding anyone back. Its a contrived sort of fandom where you cant seem to enjoy wins unless your player preference is the one with the spotlight on him. Its sad. These guys finally looked like a competitive TEAM last night and you are still here crossing your arms and unhappy with the result "whatabouting" to other guys roles and situational prowess. Who do you want on defense at the end of the game in lieu of KPJ/Jalen -- Nix? TyTy? Mathews? JC? Whether you like it or not putting in Bruno JUST FOR THAT POSSESSION was not a bad tactical move there was only like 34 seconds remaining. The sequence prior to the substitution had Sengun missing a dunk and comitting a foul. He was inserted at the 6 minute mark of the 4th quarter!! The stat card was not kind to Sengun last night, but HE HAD A GREAT GAME for the most part.

This team was going to lose games this year no matter what. Feeding Sengun 100% of the time wouldnt change that. He is developing GREAT and will be a vital part of winning games for this team as the years roll on. What else do you want? Sengun playing point guard is just stupid. Like realistically what do you want? 100% of the possessions to run through the post when the offense is a guard attack offense?

 

I mean you are a flaming racist and out of touch with your emotions regarding this player. Im not sure you get to pick and choose how people should react to you.

At face value that might sound disappointing but that 8-18 last season was based on a 7 game winning streak with vets like Wood and EG being the largest contributers to the wins. Basically dudes that have no future here.


This 8 wins is from our young core hence why it feels so much better than last year's 8-18.

What is the statistical probability of postive outcomes when you have the oldest team in the league going no where with an aging star(s) that want out? Don't acquire high picks while after 3 years you lose the rights to your own picks? Sure try to remain competitive.

Out of all the players, Sengun would of been last on my list to have irrational/cancerous only fans.

 

Good post. I agree 100%. This actually includes Jalen and Jabari(your two most untouchables) being a big part of it. Kind of a big deal.

 

It's ironic, isn't it? Sengun is probably the highest IQ team-oriented player on our roster. And his fanatic followers are just the opposite of what he is.
