Last night was the first game I watched since my 5 weeks in Ireland. I really like Sengun!! He really impressed me with his toughness last night. That's a 19 yr old who is really going to be good. I kept thinking.......please don't trade off a bunch of our promising young guns again for one player like we have done so many times in the past. That's my biggest fear with this damn organization.

 

So you saying Wood played next to Drummond on a losing Pistons team worked just fine right?

They finished 20-46

Wood played 62 games started only 12

Who is the scapegoat? Seems to me everyone blames Silas everytime he breathes.

Wood has faults, he is far from perfect the problem is he hasn’t erased any of those coming from last year….

 

Well we lost 15 in a row but then won 7 in a row. But 15 is bigger than 7 so I guess Silas sucks. Fire Silas.

 

Beat me to it....if it worked out sooo good why isn't Wood in Detroit still? Woods is good but has a lot of bad habits. That's why he bounced around the league until now. He never boxes out, and when he does get the rebound he think he's a point guard. He likes to set those weak ass picks that the defender just breaks through. Yes Wood is ok but he could be better.

You are right, Wood is far from perfect.

But there is no denying, even from the Wood haters, that Wood is one of the best players on this team and is one of the reasons for Rockets successful win streak.

As for blaming Silas, the Theis 2 big lineup and 15 game losing streak is on the coach (and FO).

Not playing Sengun more minutes is on Silas.

 

There was so much more wrong with Pistons than Wood and Drummond.

Morey tried to trade for Wood right before the bubble.

But Pistons GM wanted to rebuild with Wood as core piece. That GM was fired and new GM chose to go in different direction.

Pistons still suck.

Learning NBA is not that hard.

 

Im far from a Wood hater… I’m just a realist in pointing out areas he need to improve

I’m not placing 100% of any loses on Silas… Tilman and Stone are playing their part in things also…

Sengun is going from 29 games 28 min a game to needing to play 81 games, I’m okay with them slowly ramping his minutes up during the season

 

Sengun was most efficient and effective player vs Bucks, he more than deserved to finish.

And Wood and his teammates AGREED.

 

Really? Because the way you guys are describing him is like his gameplay is a culture changer, but it is not. lol
