    When I was still 4 to 5 years old, I ALREADY knew that the 7 continents are Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.

    Technically it's not wrong to call Australia a continent. Depends on where you are, and what you're taught in school. It could be called Oceania and/or Australia. By some definition, a "continent" is a large continuous piece of land. Which in that sense, Australia is one. All the other small island nations that surrounds it such as Tasmania, New Zealand, etc combined with Australia is commonly referred to as the region/continent of Oceania.
