Novak is going to excel in our system. Him playing two dudes commanding doulbe+ team, what a wet dream.

That's the last thing we should worry about, dude. He will be in excellent shape, he is Yao Ming.

It looks as if Novak fell into a coma in the fourth quarter of last night's game and still isn't awoken. The prognosis doesn't look so good. He could well be unconscious for a very long time.

Novak is making 3 pointers like layups.

It should be ILLEGAL for Novak to be on the same team as Yao/T-Mac. That combo gives defense ZERO chance.

Half time.... 60 vs 51 Rockets leading.

    Yao Ming: 18 points/7 rebounds.
Novak: 13 points (4 3-pointers + the technical free throw)
    Snyder: 8 points
    Head: 8 points

Anyone wonder what that dessert for KFC is? I keep seeing it in the commercials (chinese TV).

Did anyone catch Yao fell hard on the floor? For a few moments he was limping on the court, wincing in pain. On the sideline after the half time buzzer, it appears Keith Jones was checking on Yao to see if he was OK.

Well, even now he is still rusty after a week of not much reconditioning due to the toe nail, he is still 18 points/7 rebounds by half time.

Just think positively.....He will become a beast when he returns to top competitive form !!

Kirk Snyder hit two back to back threes at the beginning of the game when he was left wide open.

I like Kirk Snyder. I think he's going to be a great sixth man off the bench to back up Bonzi Wells or Tracy McGrady.

I'm concerned about Yao and Mcgrady getting enough PT on the court together before the season starts. There's a good chance the offense is going to become more Yao-centric this year, and I want to make sure McGrady adjusts to that as early as possible (preferably before Nov 1st). He didn't look to comfortable on the court with Yao yesterday.

I don't think it should be a given that Bonzi should start. He doesn't have a 3-point (judging by last year and his comments coming in), and 3-point shooting is precisely what we need at SG when Yao and Mcgrady are on the court.

I am not worried about Yao much. We know he will the beast we saw last season when the season starts. I am just happy that the new guys are contributing to our system.
